I think that's gonna be it for the Coyotes. They put up a hell of a fight, but Howard just basically posted back to back shutouts, since that Jovo goal was utter bulls***. Game 6 in the Joe, and the Wings can smell the blood in the water. Hopefully they get it taken care of and earn themselves a couple of extra days of rest. Wow. I was pretty upset when the Wings signed Bertuzzi, and was very happy when he left. Why any Wings fan would want him back is beyond me. Was your TV busted when he was playing in Detroit?

Franzen is the more consistent player, and shows up when needed (playoffs), so I am quite happy. We have Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Franzen locked up long term, and that's a good place to be. Hossa was great in the regular season, but I think couldn't handle the pressure and attention in the playoffs. It's great that he scored 40 goals in the regular season, but the Wings were going to the playoffs whether he was there or not. He wasn't singed to a fat 1 year contract to be a great regular season scorer. He was signed to help the Wings repeat, and to that end he didn't do much.

That was a ******* AMAZING save by Flower at the end. Congrats Pens, you were the better team this year. We'll get the cup back next year. Thanks for another great season, Wings. We can't win it every year...
