D-Mac? Are you serious? Do you ever listen to him on 97.1? I love the guy, don't get me wrong, but I can't understand a damn thing that comes out of his mouth. Always mumbling his words, I don't know if he got hit in the jaw a few too many times or not, but he can't speak that well. He has great hockey knowledge, and its cool to have him on occasionally, but don't put him no the air full time. I don't really have a problem with Murph. Yeah, he says some weird things, but thats what I like about it. You never really know what he's going to say, and it adds to the entertainment value of the game.

I love it when these pseudo-science commercials have "scientists" standing around in white lab coats, complete with erlenmeyer flasks filled with neon colored liquids. All they need is the dry ice to complete the mad science lab effect. The extenze commercials are the worst offenders. "ITS REAL SCIENCE!!!" Is this the horn the Wings use for their goal horn? The video doesn't sound like it, but it could just be the low quality sound. I wish you luck in finding your horn sir!

This is why they need to play Ozzie more. Howard is no better between the pipes than Ozzie is right now. However, Ozzie has the experience. I say play him more, it may save the Wings collective butts in the playoffs.

He's got the speed, needs to work on the hands to go with it. I think he gets overly excited on those breakaways and just shoots it blindly at the net, where a player like Datsyuk will evaluate the situation and take a moment to get a quality scoring chance. He's young, he'll learn. I hope.

Well said, sir. Red Wings goaltender has always been a thankless job. I think Howard fits in well here, and like you said the jury is still out about whether or not he's a "great" goalie. I do wish they'd switch between him and Ozzie more. I like having two sharp goalies going into the playoffs. If Howard gets injured, it would not be good to put a rusty Ozzie in the net.

Shanahan was definitely the locker room prankster. I wouldn't be surprised if he came up with the idea for that commercial himself. Good times

I believe Probert only wore the A for a portion of that season, and I don't think he ever wore it with the throwback uniform. If you're unsure, you can have the shop cut the A for you, but give it to you loose. That way, if you find out differently, or change your mind down the road, you can just have it sewn on.
