I hear what you're saying, and I wouldn't be commenting on the goaltending if it was a 2-0 game. It was 5-0. Yeah, the Wings couldn't score anything, but there's no one to really blame other than the goaltender when your team gets 5 goals scored against it. I was only half watching the game because I was working on something, but I didn't think the defensive lines dropped the ball that badly, did they? -

Our offense had a ton of quality chances, they got shut down by Quick. He was inhuman. -

They should have played Ozzie... not hating on Howard, but I wish Ozzie was between the pipes tonight. I just had a feeling after the last game that he would be the hot one this week -

I'm probably going to miss the first period of this game because of the icy hell that is Southfield Fwy and 696. It took me 2 hours to get to work this morning, I don't see that changing much on the return trip. I say Wings take this 3-2, Cleary/Dats/Fil. Babcock has been on Filpulla's ass to shoot more, so I'm hoping he follows that advice tonight. -

Seriously, can hockey just stop it with the stupid, gimmicky, screen-print graphic jerseys for the love of all that is holy and right? Keep it simple - bold colors, stripes, a decent, readable font, and above all a classy logo; that's all you need. That Wild Wing, the King's Burger King jersey, the Islander's Gorton Fisherman, I don't think any of those lasted more than a season due to fan outrage.

I would like to see Ozzie get the start against the Kings tomorrow. He was hot last night, let him carry over the momentum into the next game. I don't think it will do anything to Howard's confidence to sit several games while Ozzie gets his feet wet, he knows he's not superman and can't play every game.

Probably wishful thinking, but can all the Ozzie haters STFU now ? Great game by Ozzie, he obviously still "has it" and can be relied upon. Great game.

Lidstrom will be retired, but it won't be until a few years after he retires. Despite the contributions, Osgood is too polarizing amongst the fan base, unfortunately.

The Canadiens fans warmed my heart last season when they burned Crosby pictures and jerseys in the streets of Montreal after beating them in the playoffs. However, complaining about the officiating of this game is very douchey.

That's sad. Are everyone sore losers now? Geez, that was a great game, the Habs had lots of chances to take the game. Besides the crap slashing calls, which ended up canceling out anyway, there was nothing even remotely controversial about the reffing this game. Crying in his beer because he has nothing to complain about lol

I watch him for the bumbling idiot stuff, which is really just in his presentation. He always adds good info to the conversation. I think its great that we have commentators with actual personalities. The trio provide a collective knowledge of hockey unmatched by most, if not all, commentators.
