Because the Wings are doing well this year? Who knows. Every fan blames the refs a little more than they should, but the people on that Calgary board took it to a whole new level. A couple of the penalties might have been soft, but how many times do the Wings get nailed for hooking when they're just going after the puck? Homer gets called for goalie interference for just standing in front of the net. Bad calls happen all the time, if the Calgary fans want to know what bad calls really look like, they should watch a replay of the Wings-Sharks series in the playoffs last year. The fact is, if Calgary would have shown up for the 3rd period, they would have won. Stupid mistakes and legitimate penalties at the end cost them the game.

I never understood this. You pay for a ticket, why not get your money's worth? Get there on time, leave when the game's over. Even if the Wings are getting killed, you might see a fight or two

Which one are you reading for the Wild, HFBoard? Other team's GDT's barely break 5 pages long, and most of its whining, so I usually don't bother. Although it was fun to read through the Blue's after giving them a good old fashioned 3rd period schooling.

Let's not turn this thread into a foreign vs. domestic car debate. I'm willing to bet that the mix of foreign vs US made parts in both Toyotas and Fords are probably about the same.

How is that being even remotely xenophobic. No one's saying don't buy a car from " 'dem 'der foreign people," the complaint is that giving away a US made car would show support for the local economy. You know, the region where the people live who buy game tickets. It will put off some people, and if you look at the comments on the Red Wings facebook page many people are being vocal against it. Will people stop going to Red Wings games over it? Probably not. However, so far it hasn't proven to be a very good PR move. nice

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but did anyone notice that Karen Newman was wearing one of the practice jerseys with the Amway patch on it during the national anthem? I'm sure she wasn't wearing it by choice, but I like how the Amway patch was conveniently covered up by her hair I wonder if she did that on purpose.
