Man, the regular season seemed to fly this year, can't believe its playoff time. I'm hoping for a decisive victory today to sew that seed of doubt into the Yote's. Hopefully the D decides to help Howard out tonight, don't need a bunch of goals against to shake his confidence from the get-go.

Nothing is as bad as having to play back to back SCF games because NBC said so. I actually don't mind the afternoon games, from a fan perspective. Watch the game, get the party started early. As said above, I don't think fatigue will be an issue with 2 days between games.

I'm torn on this issue. On one hand, I'd love to see Canada get their teams back. There needs to be more teams in the north, and less in the south. Hockey has the largest following in the north, for obvious reasons. The only time the southern teams get a consistent following is when they're in the playoffs. On the other hand, because of the economy in Michigan many of my friends have moved out to Phoenix for jobs. The only time they get to see the Wings live is when they play Phoenix. When the Wings are in town, Jobing.com Arena really is Joe Louis Arena West.

Wow, just watched this video after hearing about this call. If anything calls into question the credibility of the NHL officials, and the boys in Toronto, its got to be this. I'm getting ready for a playoffs full of horrendous calls.

I've been saying this for a while. Its crazy that Wisconsin doesn't have any hockey teams, it would be nice to see Milwaukee get a hockey team.

Hoping we can snag another 2 points from a team that we should easily beat. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we lost 3-1 Wings (because I'd love to see the Wings keep any team to a single goal)

Yeah, I don't care about college basketball either. It seems odd that there are so many people who root for a team at a university that they never attended? If I went to UConn, I'd probably watch them in the tournament, but I didn't so I really couldn't care less.

I only saw Homer's and the last one (not sure who got it, Stuart?) I thought Homer's was questionable, but looking at the replay I could see how the ref's could call it. Yes, the refs were being pedants about it, but whatever. The last one was complete bulls*** to call. Even Mickey thought it might have hit the glass on the way out. With a tied game, chance for the Wings to clinch the division, you call a bulls*** delay of game penalty with 4 minutes left in the game? I rarely yell at the TV, but I think the neighbors could hear my barrage of 4 letter words directed towards the zebras...
