NO! Bertuzzi is a fail because nothing ever changes. If he was bad once, he will be bad again. Guys never have chips on their shoudlers, guys never want to do good in a new situation. I know for a fact right now, that he wont put up any points for us, because my, he was bad before - logic is never wrong. GRIT. GRIT. GRIT. Different teams have different systems. Jiri Hudler wouldn't of been the same player he was in Detroit, on another team. Mike Babcock will put him in a position where he can flourish as much as possible.

I've been reading/hearing a lot about whether or not to sign Hudler, how much he is worth, ect. I want to know what intelligent Wing's fans think: I love Hudler, he is one of my favorite players, but is he simply a product of the Wings system? Or could he produce somewhere else?

I didn't mean to knock on LA. I just meant, that if Hossa wants the cup as badly as he claims, you would have to agree Detroit gives him a better shot, to get the cup sooner.

Hossa going from a team like Detroit, to a team like the Kings? And he WANTS the cup? Can someone explain to me how the whole "rights" thing works? Like can he only negotiate with who we allow? Or is this only untill Free Agency? I'm confused.

You could take any free agent on the market and give reasons whythey would fit, or why they wouldn't fit this team. Money, and Cap space plays too big of a part. I'd rather see Hossa back, and Helm and possibly Abdelkader playing regularly. People seem to forget that the guys we have currently were one game away from winning the cup.

I'm not saying the team will, or should do this but could you imagine a Ovechkin/Datsyuk/Malkin line in the upcoming olympics? 3 of the top 4 point-getters in the regular season last year.

As far as the Malkin suspension.. Honestly, I think everyone knows that if Zetterberg came after Malkin, or another Wings player pulled that crap, there would of been suspension on the grounds of : "A player of his caliber should know better, and understand the rules."

Don't really like it, with all the Crosby snub complaints and all, but there is no tradition saying that Illitch should shake his hand after the series.
