In the meantime, you'll still be able to watch college football on Big Ten Network, the MTN., ESPN, ESPNU, ESPN GamePlan, local channels and your Regional Sports Network (RSN). NHL games are available on NHL Network, NHL Center Ice, and your RSN. MMA is available on HDNet and Spike TV, IRL on ABC, and Professional Bull Riding on ESPN2. I don't know where else to turn so I thought I'd post here for some ideas. Beginning of the 2009 year NEW ERA had issued a Stanley CUP hat for several teams. The Red WIngs hat had their logo on one side of the panel and a Stanley Cup on the other in the front. Listed on the hat was the years they had won the cup. Does anyone remember this hat? does anyone know what the name was? I have looked all over and called several places and know one seems to know anything about this hat. If anyone has one and can post a picture that'd be great. Thanks. is this what you are looking for ?

relax hockeytown,my post was suppose to be taken with humor nothing more (note the inclusion of Bettman)no trolling,lighten up a little bit guys ! ,as far as Hossa goes,that's so funny what happened to him,lets all have a laugh over that. I never thought of it until I wrote that post but wouldn't that be weird though if that match up would happen next year and he was on the losing team for a third straight year with different teams ?

that's all well and good,but here's an invitation to also become a fan of a team that hasn't even reached it's full potential,the Penguins of course.There's the new state of the art arena coming soon,imagine yourself watching the contruction as you come to watch next years finals against those lamers the Blackhawks complete with lossa ready to do it for a third time. Then there's the classy HOF'er owner.and Malkin,Crosby,Fleury,Bettman,Staal,Talbot etc.

this forum is like one from hell,really. Mean,hateful,grinding of teeth etc......there's a few decent people that speak up occasionally. You guys are really pitiful creatures,you deserve each other. The cup is all that matters to you,it blinds you.

you guys really want to jump on this and run with it huh ? I don't think too many knowledgeable people are worried about this except you haters of Pittsburgh (haters of just about everything?) and the misinformed. It's regrettable what the young lady is goning through but it's not Ben's fault.

People say Minnesota should be Hockeytown. And I agree they have a big hockey tradition there. But keep in mind they have never won a Stanley Cup ever and they lost their team the first time. this is a very interesting idea,to break the tie maybe the team that has beaten both Detriot and Minnesota in the finals should be called hockeytown ?

Nope, now that that's cleared up, don't you have a lot going on right now besides trolling a Red Wings board? Go back to Pittsburgh, or at least go back to their fan site where they will stroke your ego. yeah I know what your talking about.I'm watching that other Championship team on TV right now......

hey he's still only a kid.He won't be doing that in a few years. It's no reason to truly hate him like some of you do. There are some here that is reasonable about this but not a lot. Hating doesn't do you any good no matter how you look at it. I would like to see the maturity some of you guys had at Sid's age.,I dare say not even half of what he has. You prove this every time you talk about him. He earned it just about as much as any other captain ever did and then some. You can think of at least 29 other players you would rather have,WHAT ?

get ready for rebuilding years,maybe as many as 8-10 years in the wilderness.By that time the Pens will have caught up with the wings Stanley Cup totals. This will provide the wings with the desire to regain the prominace that they once had.

I was thinking this also about the original poster but then I said to myself that I have faith in him to the right thing and then read his last sentence "at least there are other ways by which I can make their lives miserable." now am not so sure.I hope he was kidding. I don't take hockey nearly as serious as many do here..... a group of kids being pens fans.wings fans would be all the same to me.We all get carried away with our home teams passions as it should be but we shouldn't hate,not even come anywhere close to that.

a more pleasant city ? Pittsburgh is always very,very high on the list of livable cities in the U.S. And Halloween is always celebrated quietly here. Trashing steel workers,blue collar workers being the backbone of the hockey fans in this country ?! titanium,your post was totally without thought.

a crude game of what is now knwon as hockey was played at the fort in 1759,it was noted that, that winter was very rough and long and the occupants of the Fort needed a way to keep warm and occupied during this time..Pittsburgh was known as HockeyCity USA by some accounts as early as 1836

wingsfan,I see you jumping ship in the coming year. With the slide that the red wings are going to start on this season you will be a Pens fan very soon I predict.
