Am I foolish to believe we have a shot at the cup every year? Maybe, but I do feel every year that we (anyone who gets in the playoffs really) has a chance to win. You see everything fall in line when your on that special run, there is no reason this team can't put something special together!

The only thing I can say is the normal thing for someone in this scenario is to keep it as vague as possible....not make up stories about the man

Yes that is correct, he does have 9 points. (Hands clapping) Everyone was rooting for him yes but the ice was more then thin. Obviously wanted to see him work out, I couldn't think of a worse case scenario 1st season. Very Mike Madano

Weiss and Helm seemed to compliment each other the other night & toss in Datsyuk to work some magic and this line could work for a bit. No doubt they will have limited time before Babs tries something else...I say put Dats back with Tatar -

Wow are we real bad at shoot outs or are we real bad at shoot outs?! Do these guys not practice this at all? For having a line up with: Datsyuk Franzen Zetterberg Nyquist Tatar Jurco (maybe if you tell him it's for YouTube;) And even... Sheahan Kronwall Smith should be able to win some shoot outs. -

Personally I'm not a fan of Abby with Tatar and Riley Id like to see him swapped with Mule: Tatar Sheahan Franzen! Edit: either way I hope we see a win and Tats and Goose both net 2! -

As long as we got a point I'm ok, I actually thought we were going to lose as the Sabers were on one terrible run so that had to snap that at some point...and teams always seem to ring their A game against us, a result I suppose of years of awesomeness

The only thing that bugs me still is who we received in that deal. I think most people would have rather put Calle in our lineup then trade him for Legwand.

I would love if we did this. So if Weiss was to retire, is Mikey Ilitch allowed to contribute to his retirement as a "gift"? Thus allowing our old pal Damien to come back to play with hank. Then Dats can play with Goose & Tatar
