From what I have seen, Babcock is going with a new technique for line combos...what would you call it because Ive seen a few...Line Bombs, line vomit, grenade lines and some even say that Babs is taking advice from "drunk chuck", an old Hooper mascot from back in the day. Brutal game when we needed 2 points to keep pace with the Sidney's...Sorry more like a brutal 20 minutes, we looked good then in the third it looked reversed and the Yotes seemed to control the play. In the end of this one I realized how much people actually LOVE seeing the Wings lose, listen to the announcers with every goal they scored they became tauntingly gitty. This is why we must lose as little as possible going forward LGW

I only saw the highlights-re watched x4. Monster is looking good here, he has strung three in a row which is the consistency he has been looking for. In Toronto he would suffer from being a different goalie in every period, stellar in the 1st and down right brutal in the 2nd. So good on him. Also good on Big Rig too for taking McLeod to the ice like he did!

This all the way. To spark him just have him center Dats and Z for a game or two haha. But seriously

I love Brunner and think we would have been much better with him and Im sure in hindsight he would have signed here but alas it was a different kind of year with not as much "dumb" money around...But he f*ed up and is a piece of another puzzle now, but why take away/hate on a guy for goals he scored? I would make a trade including several players from our current line up to include him in this.

Woot Woot, 1 down 81 more to go! Nice game by the hometown boy's, Abby, Cleary, Bert, Miller and even Emmerton really played with speed and made good choices with and without the puck all game long. The rest all played well obviously but these are the guys that can make the difference imo. Wiess also stood out to a lot too, he's FAST as hell with the puck and that will be great once line 2 starts to gel (and they will). The D looked great as well and Jimmy look alright himself. Good job boys

Big Bad Bert isn't done. He's big, scary and can still make moves out there, like Hillbilly said I'd take him over a handful of players we currently have under contract....That being said this is probably it for him.

I expect Alfie to be slow but clutch all year long. Clutch being the main factor here obviously, many of our losses over the past few years could have gone either way so hopefully his poise will help...

Datsyuk and Zetterberg are both well known for their grunt work all over the ice, however to fit your model of player for this role how about Datsyuk Zetterberg Tatar ....Tatar is amazing around the net and could be holmer with sick skill and again line porn does come to mind (no pun intended)

I agree however Dats was too small for a while too, I see a lot of similarities in Dats and Nyquist so I feel his size will soon come.... ... I still feel Datsyuk Zetterberg Nyquist .is a "secret weapon" line that would 100% bewilder whomever the opposing line happens to be.

In terms of success I'd say, oh I don't know...ALL OF THEM?!
