Huh? Franzen is lazy and he sucks yes, but at 4 mil he has put up 20 points in 29 games, not good enough you say? Parise is 10 times the player, last I checked he didn't have 200 goals, he has 15 and only 30 points. Parise has also played in 35 games, 6 more then Franzen while playing an average of 3 minutes more a game. Oh yeah and Parise is +9 and has a 10.9 shooting % while Mule is +8 and a 9.1 shooting %. I will not respond about Kesler.... -
At 5 mil I agree no thanks. Id rather see phil kessel on Dats wing if we are talking 5 mil, so Kenny get a package including fil (++) or phil.

It's always "the asking price is too high", and why aree the goddamn Bruins so frigging special?! The Wings are so close to having something special and Kenny has to see this...

I was interested in Bouwmeester 4 years ago, but not this time around. It wasn't a mistake Holland didn't land him. I think the cons broke the scale on this one.

I really thought this was about phil Kessel being a girl, I could hardley contain myself from giggling like a school girl myself while reading the title of this thread....Sounds like the girl have some real skills! How many games were in that season? Those look like helva good numbers!

This is awesome, 3 original 6 teams in one division is sweet. Not in to mention I live in port hope, an hour from Toronto & 3.5 from ottawa!! Hopefully Datsyuk doesn't take too much "punishment" from those pesky eastern teams... -
Someone had to bring it up. This is honestly no surprise to me, I will be truly surprised if he stay's to be honest. Once your kin is involved who can judge, all we can do is hope he has a career year au revoir. I still think he's leaving, but not because of the "eastern conference punishment". That's just crazy.

Jimmy's just coming into his prime and has saved a lot of games for us over the past few years, I say he ends up in the 4 to 5 range with the Wings, 6+ any where else....I am also trying not to get upset at the number of people who say they wouldn't pay him over 3 or 4 tops ?! If you don't have more faith in Howie then that I don't know what to say.

These are my thoughts as well. The line is just bad, on paper and on ice, and when you have sooo much more right at your fingertips it's frustrating.

I love this as our top 6! It also puts Franzen back to line 3 where he can be under the radar score lots of goals and have fun.

I agree, the kid's an ace. He's a goal scorer and also someone who has a great vision. The fact him and Z had the connection they did just shows what kind of kid he is imo.

I see the Wings pulling one out here, I'm glad to see Franzen back but wont expect much other then working himself back into game shape and maybe chipping one in. Dats is the man, Z and Brunner are awesome and Jimmy has been looking great.
