Glad to get a late game on a saturday, game starts when shift ends LGW

I missed the last game but to me in the last 10-15 games Flip, Z-berg & Helm have been our anchors. When those three disappear with an already depleted lineup it's over. With Big Bert back and Dats on Saturday I look forward to the last ten games and get geared up for the playoffs.

Im pretty sure we all knew a slump was coming, we were certainly due for one and with our list of injuries it's a no brainer. That being said as long as we have Dats, Lids back for the playoffs (and in form) we will be in good shape...I fell asleep before last nites game apparently I wasn't the only one

IMO jones doesnt fit at the moment either, the only one I'd replace on the bottom 6 at this point would be Homer and thats not going to happen so. Every now and then we have a player I can't stand, Sammy was one of those guys that always bothered me....Even more after he went to Vancouver. If he comes back here I'll have to question Kenneth.

5 Mill is too much for Grabovski at this point but high 3's or 4 isn't too shabby for this young man entering his prime. He is kind of like Flippula in way, but a few less points for defence and a few more for offence. He's an awesome playmaker with great speed and an underused shot, I think he'd be great on any line we have and would gel into our sistem nicely. Get'r done Kenny!

Good run boys, kudos on the record setting run! On another note, is it time Pavel gets thought for Hart Trophey? Last I heard it was the player most valuable to his team, and until recent years we never had one major superstar. Datsyuk has shown he's a ******* beast and better then anybody in the league in pretty much any scenerio, so now that he's stepping into the limelight will he get a Hart nomination? Sorry if this isnt the correct place for this, its just these past two games has made me think how Dats has become our little secret weapon we use to trump other teams with and got thinking it'd be cool if he could score a Hart, the only to do since Howe in 63 was Sergie in 93....I guess it'll be fitting if he gets it on 13...

So has there been any talk about trying to aquire a 2nd scoreresk type player? I read in the hunt for another Dman even, but nothing since the start (exept on here that is) about hunting for a scorer. Which imo is what we need most right now to put us over the top.

As people have said Cleary played his first game back after two knee drains, not fun stuff. Cleary is NOT a goal scorer, he is a 3rd or 4th line grinder who is clutch and plays with a ton of heart. I don't know why all the Cleary hate, we have found out already prior to this maybe he shouldnt be on line 1 or 2 but he sure as hell should be on 3 or 4.

Would f*$king love Luke Schenn on this team, imo in the right system he could be a top pairing in a few years.

At least it showed Jimmy's ready to go, though hopefully they keep pressing in the 2nd...

I expect Z with bad back and all to continue his own little streak and carry this team on his shoulders for the first time in a while.
