I think Mursak is huge in the playoffs? the speed he has through the zone is insane and he doesnt slow down either he keeps the pedal down. You can see guys getting tired chasing him around, his energy is what we need in the playoffs. Moen would be a big step up from Emmerton yes or Holmstrom for that matter so if we don't loose to much more then Emmerton for Moen I wouldn't be opposed at all.

I have no clue what so ever as to why some people have a hard on for this guy, our bottom 6 is spoken for and then some. Imo a top 6 would help our run and we will need a D man next year.

I actually was searching trade rumors last night to see if there were trying to ship him out before its too late. If his productin doesnt pick up that team is screwed for a long while. I really think however they need a significant shake up that sends some people packing because he was so good a couple years ago and he should now be almost getting into his prime right? Rockstar at 23 forgotten at 25? Something is a miss in washington...

I as well hope conks clears and gets to play a bit more, I even hope he signs again in the offseason as well but thats unlikely im sure. He is just a great guy and would really help mentor those kids in GR. Good luck Ty

Now I am going throught the same thing, I bought NHL Gamecenter Live as well and soooooo many games get played and advertised but I cannot watch because it's on my local station...NHL GAME CENTER IS MY STATION, man it's bulls***. I really hope Joet Mac doesnt get sent down, sorry Conks but I think it's safe to say he most likely wont be picked up off waivers. Joey is hot and playing real well in big games, his attitude alone about being sent down has red wing all over it...I guess we find out tomorrow.

For what it's worth I would much, much rather Commy then Kubina or Gill, Commy has been playing a lot smarter while on the ice and thats really improved his game. Kindl to me on the other hand needs to sit a few....And in all seriousness what are our chances of getting selanne?

Its becoming apparent to me that every trade deadline/free agency from here on out have changed as we know it. There are far too many teams and such like needs and only handfulls of game changing players to fill them....I still get geared up every time but it just feels a little different in the past few. When I look at our prospects though I get uber stoked and can't believe we are only ranked #15 right now, Im putting a lot of my eggs into our scouters baskets at this point.

I feel the opposite, Toronto is one of the biggest hockeys mecas in the leauge, all this despite having one of the s***tiest teams for the last decade...It works the other way to, the Toronto hockey market is soo into their game a lot players have said it's too stressful to play there. I truely believe Nash would put Toronto back on the map for a good few years.

Wow a horrible showing last nite for the leaves, I keep saying but Burke has to do what he can to get Nash and perhaps even Carter to the T Dot...send them whomever you must i.e- Kessel, Joffery, Grabovoski, Kadri, Kulimen, they dont have killer prospects but they have picks and Joe Colborne is going to be a damn fine player imo. I just think it's time this organization had some "star" power again because this roster has to play the perfect game to win and when they dont they get smashed more often then not.

In my mind now Burke has to get this done. Package up Kessel, Kadri and the hot Joffery and get this guy there. Nash would be the king of Toronto he is what that town loves......Ticket prices may go up even more though so I may have to start driving 4 hours to Ottawa or 5 to the D to start seeing games...

I really wanted Conks to get one more shot, but never the less he did not and Joey Mac kicked ass so good for Joey! I think Conklin will clear waivers for sure and we may even head into next season flip flopped-Conks our starter in GR and Joey Mac up here.
