Would love Nash here, he would be a freaking beast. However as other people here have said Nash is a franchise player and you dont get these types of players by giving them s***. That's what is bulls*** about it! If you don't want it deciding playoff games why should it help decide who gets to the playoffs. The NHL has to do a way better job of making things cut and dry because right now its all wishy washy, theres always a rule to contradict the last one. They should have serious meeting with GM's, the NHLPA as well as recieve serious input from fans and start with the re-allignment and go all the way through the book.

Lids is as good as in, Pavs will most likely be but he still needs almost another decade of awesome to seal it....Z dropped out of this long ago imo, hes still a good player but not nearly as dominant a player as he used to be.

I do love Morrow but Grabby is only 27 and is currently 1.2 million less, don't get me wrong if I read we signed Morrow Ill do a little dance as well but I really love the raw freaking talent Grabovski has and believe he doesnt get the kudos he deserves in toronto.

I would really actually rather one more scorer and have our boys who can throw their weight around to do so. I would LOVE to see us pick of Grabovski from the the Leafs (his salary is currently 2.9mil), he plays aggressive to the net and has awesome speed. EDIT: I also love my boy Colton Orr and would love to see him in a wings wheel too...is he playing again or still out?

I dont get the negs for this comment because it was pretty brutal imo but the problem I personally have about bitching about it is I dont have a solution for fixing the level suck that it has. The NHL is not the NBA but the players seem to be confused via Gary Bettamn on what they should be doing out there...At times it looked more like a circus then seeing the best hockey players in the world on one pad of ice.

My thoughts are Toews shouldnt have to go and not get suspended do to the rule book. Ovie should go and if he doesnt then get suspended, does it say somewhere a suspended player gets a choice to take part or not to? Ive just seen that a suspended player is eligible to take part. The notion of him (Cleary) being a top six is silly in most cases imo but as a third or fourth liner he has been better then great. You can't teach being "clutch" afterall and that has been our Danny boy to a tee. The problem is when their are players like Mursak, Tartar, Andersson & Nyquist coming up Cleary obviously has a lot of work to do. But trade him? No thanks.

That is a surprising stat to me for sure. I see Z and Flip on the ice I think "NO CONTEST" for opposing forwards, but if it's not working it's not working. I would love to see Abby on the 2nd line (as well as Eaves but he's had his own woes to deal with at the moment) he would be a thorn in the rose bush so to speak. Abby also responds well when being pushed recently (his mins dropped while playing well??) so at very least trying it out on the road is worth a shot for sure.
