Filppula - Datsyuk -Holmstrom Hudler- Zetterberg - Franzen Cleary - Abs - Bertuzzi Eaves - Helm-Mursak I love the combos. I just think that Abby would do great with Clears and Bert, they are all cut from the same cloth so to speak. That leaves Helm on four, which is almost my favorite line on the team. The "Wheels" line as I will call it of Eaves, Helm and Mursak. These guys will leave almost any line one thru four spinning round watching them fly away. I am really digging this team right now, and I have a feeling it's a best for last sort of thing...we shall see.

He just fits the backup role so well I think, without the injuries Ozzy has. Sorry Ozzy well miss you!

Holland did not say he's done with the forwards, he said he's looking at defense and not so much at forwards. Thus getting another D man is job one. I think if they were offering Jagr 2.5 then it will go to another forward spot, I also think we will sign someone for this spot late into the summer.

Holy moly, I wish we could see live footage of him hearing/seeing it for the first time. I think it would be nice for Drapes to finish out his last couple years in Winnipeg. He has them left to give we just have developed so many of his style for when he was gone its time to go now. He would be a great person to have around a new organization like that and really help the Jets get on a solid path fast , pun intended.

I agreed with Eaves then Ericsson. I like Eaves a lot and think that when he gets hot he could be utilized in the top 6 and PP. On the other hand If he walks for a better role/pay check then all the best. With Mursak and Emmerton coming up our bottom 6 is loaded. I wish we could get another sniper, I miss the line combos of the Hossa days.

Like most here of course the idea of Jagr is good at the right price. If he however is trying to squeeze a payday out of it then Im glad Holland is walking away. Way better places to spend the cash. With the look of a lot of the ufa's I think a trade is the best option, not to mention what some teams have done so far. I'm thinking Huds, Flip and a newly signed and cap friendly Ericsson, but to who??

If youre one of the leagues best defenseman who puts up 50 points or close to it, and youre a MINUS, or barely in the plus column, that says youre on the ice for a LOT of goals. Then you take a look at Chara: 14 goals with 30 assists and a PLUS 33. There is NO denying Chara is the BEST shut-down d-man currently in the league. He plays against the oppositions BEST every night and puts up MONSTER numbers. Chara is the NEW Lidstrom. It would be a complete travesty for Lidstrom to win out over about 20 other guys in the league this year, let alone Weber or Chara. Chara is the new Lidstrom, ok budd
