I hope Mr. Holland has something up his sleeve because the forward strength of this team scares me. I like Bert and Clears but we need goals, Mule better step it up, Huds has not brought his game but if he works hard in the off season he could return to form (its obvious he didnt last year).I love the hard working quartet of Draper, Abby, Eaves and Miller are to redundant for gosh sakes and lets face it Holmer is a pp specialist and nothing more now. I really think we need some more big time scoring help here. Love the "core" we have but need a lot better secondary now imo.

It comes up over and over again that in the playoffs experience is a key factor from a savvy vet like Modano. I know he didnt have the best season, I know he had a severe hand injury and I know his comments came way to pre-mature. However I think we signed him for "playoff" depth and if he started from game one, round one he would have dug deep and been big for us. My "american" comments stemmed from JR talking about Cheli a while back, I dont believe that to be true but I do think Babs made some errors this post season.

I would miss the late games I wont lie, as a cook I work late sometimes but this is nothing a dvr cant fix. I would LOVE playing the Leafs again, and I mean LOVE! Yes this could work for me.

I would keep them together as well, but Id put Happy with them. They have played a few shifts so far and control every time. I know Hudler has had his issues but he has great chemistry with Flip and has a great vision so plays great with Dats as well. Im rollin... Flip-Dats-Hudler Modano-Z-Bert Franzen-Helm-Cleary Miller-Draper-Eaves Looks very odd but I think they'd kick ass!

Well JR I think the Wings as a whole are a bunch of over paid, under achieving pansies who most should have retired or gave up long ago. They wont win this series because their will and determination has obviously left them. And Jimmy Howard, Nicklas Lidstrom, Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg all suck.

I do agree that Modano should be playing, he just adds more depth. When we signed him I said "come playoff time he will score some big goals for us I bet". Maybe not, Babs has really confused me on this. Must be more to the story...
