Im really happy about this, 2.25 is a great deal I think this kid has a bright future. Those saying he wouldnt get much on the market I think are quit wrong. I believe what he would get out there would be a team out there by the name of Tampa that would given him more...Not to mention on that thread a while ago about the 2014 Olympic rosters Howard is penciled in as starter (or at least the first name shown).

I never saw a fight of his I just think I heard it on a broadcast or something, so "fight a plenty" was the wrong phrase for sure. As for his size vs physical play I cant agree more. Avery is certainly better playing with his heart than his brain thats for sure. Ive also also thought that our guys play with heart, but this season Ive noticed more then a few times our player will get jabbed, slashed, crosschecked, tomahawked ect...yet our guys do f*** ALL and its starting to piss me off. With the exception of Clears and Ericsson. Ive been happy with/for Big Bert as well...But I think Its time for Big Bad Bert to appear

Holmer is what he is and does it better then anyone when able to, when half the team goes down and he is filling other rolls he is obviously unable to do what he does...like I mean Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Holmstrom_Miller-Abdelkader-Holmstrom. You cant judge a guy from that, but when his contract is up lets be honest it is up. I really dont agree with people saying the heritage classic is for canadian teams, does this mean only canadian teams play in it year after year? We dont have as many teams, not to mention there should be a boston montreal, or redwings maple leafs and hawks canuks ect. To many great match ups to pass up by drawing the line at the boarder in my opinion.

This is right on the money on all accounts. The injury he sustained was real bad and Holland and Co. are way too savvy to show their cards so directly, but there is a new goalie on the way to Mo Town for sure. Conks would be my first choice, I love that guy.

The goalie situation is driving me nuts. Howard as we all know IS an incredible goalie but OMG has he picked the wrong time for a looonng funk, I really hope that the Wings dont turn there back on Howard and I hope none of you do either! This team does need a goalie but it's a solid #2. I saw something on here awhile ago that had Conklin's name on it as our pickup and Ill tell ya that'd be fine by me! Because going into every game I know deep down that whomever is in net at that time has the skills to deliver what I want to see, and besides Howard/Conklin looks good to me.

I hope so to, I love this kid and hate to see people down on him...Up side is WHEN he comes out of this funk he'll come out a better goalie.
