I am also a Zetterberg fan-I sport his jersey every time they play-What I was going for there with "Especially Zetterberg" was that he will be the one who steps up the most in Datsyuks little hiatus. I agree his point production is great and no he isnt flashy-you also have to admit he gets less "flashy" every year which does worry me a little-but he is a leader and I can only assume hes about to really catch fire, we shall see tonite!

All the big boys need to start really playing now, Dats has been carrying the offensive load for this team all season. Now there are going to have to create there own plays, but I think they will be great. Especially Zetterberg.

I often am very critical of Ozzy and am also for getting a new back up if his play continues over his next few starts...However I think everyone would agree that the best scenario would be for Ozzy to have a great year here behind Jimmy and go down in Red Wings history and one of our elite goalies Good luck Chris!

True that, I miss the Toronto rivalry as I am only an hour outside the city...but When Toronto went to the East I was super stoked to see a Toronto Detroit Final!!! Got close but no cigar, Im still waiting.....

Good on Big Bert for real, when he came here the first time I was stoked because he has always been one of the players I wish was on our team. He was a stud with Vancouver, I mean he was big, great shot, great passer and had incredible moves, let alone pulling those moves at his size! So I'm glad he found that level again, some argued he was done and some new it was still there...Im just grateful he proved it here! I like Tampa a lot more since Stevie arrived there (obviously), but if I had to pick a second team I'd pick Edmonton...There is just something about that Eberle, he just has greatness wrote all over him.

Speaking of Feds anyone remember seeing a game against St. Louis and near the end there was a scuffle to the right of the right circle in the St. Louis end and in the dying seconds Feds starting whaling on a guy that was blocking his shot and grabbing his legs and stuff the channel was changed as soon as Feds through five rapid punch's, not as dainty as semin but dainty none the less. Anyway I was on vacation and I was like 15 or something, never saw the replay and never saw or heard of it again. Just throwing it out there...

I think it's FANTASTIC that Jimmy's leading, and not far fetched to me at all. I find it odd how many people still love Luongo when time and time again proves to be, how shall I say, meh! Has let down Van in the playoffs more then once, and before anyone talks Gold, Ozzy would have won gold with that team. I 100% agree with you and mindfly on this, I think those teams would thrive today in the Canadian locations. Not to mention the economics behind it, not only are tickets not selling in current locations, there not selling at about a fraction of the price they'd sell for in the canadian market (which isn't soo lousy these days)

I'll just say that in the past couple games when I see Flip streaking out of his end and all the way to the net he does it with such "Sergie" style.
