I like Bab's "forecasted" line as well as most other's here so far, point is they look darn good on paper, and given that most have a chemistry already there shouldn't be much of an issue. I would like to see him shake em up and put Big Bert on PP1 (also resting homer) and Flip Modano and Rafi on the PP as well. I just feel Rafalski should quarter back his own PP, Lids-Modano and Kronner-Rafalski?

Sorry I guess I just completely disagree. I find that idea so ridiculously redundant that it hurts my brain to think about it.

I agree that this is most likely speculation on khans part...However I also think it would be a shame to see Ritola go, in the same way it hurt to see Leino play like he did for Philly (I was/am happy for Leino but come on thats the Leino we thought we had). As for Miller we picked him up when to be honest I dont think anyone would have. He came here and played for spot not only did he get one he became perhaps our unsung pk hero. Miller also will with out a doubt get a very decent contract somewhere as well if that is the case, so props to Drew if thats the case, he was awesome for us. Is there no way Drapes can retire so they both can stay? Is there any other options anyone else can think of that make more sense?

Bobby Ryan is not a player I would think anyone would have a problem giving a contract to, something is odd there for sure...

Does everyone remember how Rafi played in the Olympics this year? He still has incredible game left in him but I think he needs to be on his own line not with Lids, as well as quarterbacking his own powerplay (unit two with Modano on the other point)

Lidstrom is one of the best Defenseman of all time...ALL TIME! He (and most the Wings) had a below average year, by there standards anyway. I also would not be at all surprised to see Nick get the Norris back this season.

I think Dion is gonna rock it in the T Dot to honest, there was some bad things going on in Calgary and Burkey had what the doctor ordered.

..................Good for Ian White, I always loved in him in TO, he showed up every night and was an unsung hero there for a couple years. Hopefully Calgary can shake off some Sutter and get an organization there again. White went through the s***ty Toronto saga then to help get the leafs better gets traded to calgary, so hopefully he wont have to live that again there now.

I must disagree, I think Modano would make this team a force. We already look pretty darn good imo, then adding a Modano? Sure as hell isnt making us worse!
