I agree with Bert only because of his age but his 1.5M is nicer then 2.75M then 3M the next. This is true, the Wings have done it with such conviction...well until this year but that fact we may not let the number of years our record (9) end there and keep that f***** going! It would give such momentum for this team to absolutly steamroll there way in. They have always had to "get going" for the playoffs, and as for them beging tired, well half of them were out for alot of the year. who knew that might be a good thing

Also I think it would really wake williams up, Im not the biggest fan but he has shown glimmers of what he can do so. thats what I was thinking, not trying to take the actual point from the OP though, because I think Flip is a slow developer and will be what alot of us tought he would...however comparing those numbers and saying there the same is just strange; alot teams wouldve traded flip by now.

True say I figured the 100 points would secure a spot, I mean I dont know if you have seen who Calgary plays over there last nine (Isles,Bruins,Caps,Coyotes,Avs,Hawks,Sharks,Wild,Canuks) we play in our last nine wild,preds,oilers,jackets,preds,flyers,jackets,jackets,hawks. We have to step up and take advantage of our schedule, because I would much rather have ours then calgarys! Then finishing against the hawks should be a real tone setter for the playoffs~fingers crossed

Franzen - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Filppula - Zetterberg - Bertuzzi Cleary - Miller - Williams Draper - Helm - Eaves I like these ones, no way Cleary is on center over Miller (i saw it somewhere)but I also think to energize the bottom six~if need be~babcock just needs to toss a gernade on lines 3 and 4, alot of those combos would be effective for example: Eaves~Helm~Willams Miller~Draper~Cleary

I agree totally that cleary should not be on that line! also I am Saying I was wrong about Flip and Z not working too, Bert Z and Flip are that scary second line Ive been hoping for all season! Now we have 1 & 2. I thought that one was in last nite fo sho, damn cross bar. I do think Franzen can hit some high numbers especially considering how he came out of nowhere. If he stays healthy he could be in for a few 40 goal seasons, but im hesitant he will hit 50. PS- Didnt Hank Z say that one of his Goals (pun intended) as a player was to net 50? does anyone ever see that happening...not me unfortunately.
