Terrible game. The few positives I noticed, AA started to come alive near the end skating to the net wise. Hronek I love, when it looks like he’s caught in the o’zone he always skates hard and makes it back. And finally can Hirose pass the puck! Blash needs to tweak his lines and desperately to spread the wealth to 3 lines that have scoring threats, because we currently have 1 line that is a threat and 3 garbage lines. also today I hate nemeth and mike green

I think it feels worse because Holland and Co. were more concerned about keeping the playoff streak alive then starting the inevitable rebuild so it feels like we've been in it for a while. He also gave out some horrible untradeable contracts that are part of the problem right now too. Once Holland got his head into the rebuild game the last two seasons I think he did a great job, Yzerman will carry on very much the same way. I was definitely one of the Yzerman fan boys hoping he'd some day come home, I have faith he'll get it done...I want to see that crazy story book ending where Yzerman brings the cup back to Detroit

It is what it is. Holland was in a lose/lose situation with Gus, he isn't worth what WE all believe and if he let him walk July 1st everyone would be pissed he wasn't traded at the deadline. Either way, the Goose is loose. I wish him all the best, he gave us some good hockey moments

I only caught the highlights, but looks like they almost made a comeback. Bernier had his typical game of bad bounces AND honestly Is there a breakaway stat somewhere?! Because AA must be in the lead a couple times over, not for scoring on them though just getting himself in the situation to. Its one or two a game, its really amazing to me. The kids not cherry pickin' most of the time either, he gets on the D and forces them. Id just love to see the stats on that

Amazing job by the crew last night! Larkin is blowing my mind every time he scores an OT goal, nice to see he tops the most OT goals by a Wings player to cement his personal effort. Also on a side note, how many gosh darned breakaways/shoot out attemps does AA have this year? Seems like a ridiculous amount for 1 player, I mean Helmer has always gotten his fair share of chances but AA gets 1 or 2 a game it seems

I actually think he was merely correlating Abby's salary to his level of suck. He's right about that too, but at this point its beating a dead horse as no one was happy with that contract when he got it. However Abby isn't why the wings suck, he is a good example as to how our GM and upper management put this team into the situation we are in but he's not why we suck. Our roster has many players- Larkin, AA, Nyquist, Nielsen, Mantha, Vanek & Bertuzzi that could put up a lot of points IF we had a superstar or heck even two. Our management dropped the ball very heavily on that and we are seeing the consequences of it, now we are left looking for a white horse in a field of donkeys.

A couple years ago I would have 100% agreed with this. The writing has been on the wall for many more years then this though. With Dats, Lids and Z though they kept trucking. Then Lids left in 2012. This was an obvious blast to their team, but they kept trucking. They didn't do well after this and you could see things getting worse, then when Dats left a few years later it was lights out. Those two players were arguably two of the best players to play their positions-in their own ways of course, even Z and his beard couldn't withstand the wrath.... …...Its taking some getting used to but I actually enjoy watching them lose this year (the end of last year too). Its years of ignorance that got them here, and its obviously bound to happen at some point, but wow we're bad haha. I look forward to when the rebuild actually starts to show some progress but until then Ill sit and wait for Yzerman

I hope so, HYPE!!! This will mark my first full game I get to see, hopefully they have saved their best effort for tonight. Though I shouldn't say theres been no effort, Ive seen little bits of evry game except Bostons lashing, and other then that they've played hard. They've just missed HARD on converting on their chances. Someone or someone's has to step up as the white horse of this team to turn things around and get some confidence in that dressing room...HYPE!!!

Perhaps its the off season or the beer, but before the season started I remember thinking how this team could offensively surprise a lot of people...THEN the season started, yes it's early but 4 losses in a row speaks volumes and I don't see it getting much better. I also don't always appreciate how Blashill builds his lines, perhaps he could hire blueadams as his go to lines guy....

This is exactly what I was thinking heading into this game. This isn't even Anaheim, but unfortunately for us this IS the wings. Weve looked ok at times the past two games but our forward core really does suck at generating any sustained offence. Our young D core has some things to work out but they look good, Cholowski looks like a step in the right direction to me...Here's hoping they can pull together a win soon time!

Didn't Fedorov act like a ***** for more money then left the wings for less money then he was asking? Dats left to go back home to be with his daughter, I don't feel Dats tarnished his legacy anywhere close to Feds....I was already missing Stevie and Sergie, now Im missing Dats too
