I'm so stoked for this weekend, I have sat-sun off for once so I get to watch both games!!! I hope the one today is streaming...I say the wings take Dallas down 4-1 with a magical nite from line one ( and Jimmy)! .....Then it's time for Hoss!

I'm curious as to what brings us together from all over the world(ontario here) on a daily basis to support the greatest team in sports. So I'm starting with a story of how I beacme a fan and look forard to seeing how all of you started following them as well. When I was a little boy my father took me to see my first hockey game at Maple Leaf Gardens (1989ish). I loved hockey and I loved the Maple Leafs, until that night when I saw for the first time Stevie "Wonder" Yzerman! I couldn't believe how he played the game, even at eight years old I could see he was a leader of leaders and a champion of champions. He ended up scoring a couple sweet goals That nite and I Was a fan for life and made my dad buy me his jersey, which he caved and got for me a few months later...but here we are in 2010 and I'm sitting around in my Zetterberg jersey, here's to another 20 LGW!

Then have the most kick ass line four ever. Ok well not ever but, they are damn fast!

Hudler is a pretty good hockey player and has tones'o'potential so anyone who would not want him back is just a silly goose in my opinion! Come back happy!!!

Unfortunatley I won't have tv or Internet ( just on iPhone which can't stream games;no there's no App for that!) until we move next month so I haven't gotten to see all the games like I have every other year so far (I live in port hope ont. and can only see most wings games on centerice so I listen the ticket instead). However every game I've got to see Howard has impressed the hell out of me (and they've lost every game I've freakin watched(I've only seen three). I saw some one say it's only January... but he impressed alot of people here in October too and guess what it's NOW January he STILL looks like he's just getting going! so I say f*** ya Jimmy.

First of all I started reading replys on page 1 and saw mostly Homer/Holmer talk. Then I skip to page 5 and it's the same thing lol LGW is ******* epic! However I came to this thread to discuss next season-Holland re-signing guys and such, I didn't want to start a new thread|. I think that if they do resign Tomas H. it should be to 1 year deals and have him on the pp and a filler, not a full time line 1 or 2 guy. I think we need to bring up Abby full time along with Janik and Ritola and send some people packing (Malts-sorry, Jwilly, Lebda and Meech) and see what Lids will sign for then make one big pick up(offensive). And does anyone the chances of Huds coming back next year, I miss that guy!!

I really don't get the big deal here, 45 People that I'm sure it's safe to say have some $coin$ go to a new years eve BASH and spend 378 bucks a person??? That's not that big of a deal here is it? .....Though that only leads me to believe the owner is a complete Doucher.

I would be so damn angry if we signed Hartnell! The guys a ******* ****** and for godsakes Scott Jagr cut his 15 years ago, you look like Carrot Top. .......though I love Carter, he would be great with Flip, Dats or Z. Meech and Lebda for Carter, Get it done Kenny.

I can't believe people are suprised about some fans booing this guy! I loved Hoss as a wing, I think everyone here did. However we are having a horrid year so far, we are still bitter about game 7, we are still bitter Hoss went to the Hawks and we are still bitter about Hoss's lack luster playoff performance! Again Id take him back in a second and I wish he never left so I won't boo him but hey this is the sports world and I also think Hossas character brought this on himself in the past couple years ...a little Yashinesk if u ask me lol

F*c$ Ya! That's what I'm sayin, Bert does not deserve a 9 page thread on why he sucks (or doesn't for that matter) no one on this team does! So after 18 damn years they have a stubble step, let's get behind the guys (who in my opinion our alot of guys with something to prove and have the ability to do so) because they have showed a number times that when there game is on they can beat the best and be the best. Let alone with a healthy line up! The haterz should cheer for the leafs and see what it's like cheering for a s***ty team that has sucked as long as the Wings have been Great!

I like alot of other people around here set a pretty high bar for Ville Leino. He looks good on very rare occassions, when his 13 or so games last was the opposite! However Im not giving up on this kid yet. I think people speculating positive things to happen when Flip comes back is right on for sure...but here is hoping!

For some strange reason I get the feeling the wings are going to lite them up tonight...at least 5 goals for them and Jimmy is solid and 2 get by him...Big nite for both top lines!

I was just looking over players and cap #s for next season and I dont even know what to think. Who is gonna stay? who is gonna go? Who can we bring in? By the look of it we have 15 players with contracts ending, 6 being RFA's (Abby,Eaves, Helm, Larsson, Meech and Miller) the remaining 9 UFA's are Bertuzzi, Williams, Maltby, Holmstrom, Janik, Lebda, Lilja, May and of course Lidstrom. Assume we will sign 4 out the 6 RFA's for around 4.5 Mill (Helm, Abby, Eaves, Larsson). Now looking at the list of UFA's I would really only like Lids and maybe Lilja (depending). If they signed for a total of 7mill this would mean that we would have only 29 players signed at 59.375Mill...? Lasts nights pissed me off for the whole hour drive home so there had better be a winning score waiting for me tonite! Im not really sure what to think any more to be honeset,this is the last of things that needs to happen...I saw on the "Game night" feed forum that we need to change up the lines...Ya toss a gernade on em and see what happens! How long have we been without a goal with our current lines? Im not totally optimistic either but ? Lots of energy there and I think Bert CAN score and Abby can score as well. Helm gets there, does "D" and pots the odd one...Worth a try I say...or a line 3

Bertuzzi had better find something soon...he has looked great at one second then ******* horrid two seconds later on the same ******* shift. That man pisses me off but for some reason i feel sorry for him...like a dying rabbit or something.
