Is there no one else to try on line 1 for f@$k sakes. Bert has had Moore (to soon) than enough time to show something there. Why not try Leino with Dats and put someone else, not Bert, with Z and clears...Miller looked good with Z the other night, or Abby might be interesting as well but I don't know what else could/can we do here? OK seriously, I also have the Iphone and I cant freaking belive they havent gotten any service/app/any ******* thing at all to watch live/streaming tv specificly for me the Red Wings? It can do almost everything else you can think of! Come on Mr. Jobs figure it out big guy.

I ment at the end of this season when/if he is a free agent, he wouldn't cost much more than J Willy and I'd much rather have Lombardi beside any one on the wings roster then J Willy! It also looks after that "speed" line for after drapes retires. I just think for the price and that's also if Eaves, Helm and Abby are a part of Wings future( and that's an if) that Lombardi would gel well with most if not all of this team.

I'm pretty sure Lombardi signed a 3 year deal worth 5.5 in 2007 so this should be his last season if this is correct. I think signing him to put with Helm and Eaves Would be awesome! And Holland can just get Yzerman to talk with him....Lombardi is Canadian after all.

From what I've seen lines are gonna be freakin tuff once we have a healthy roster (good for the playoffs though, plenty of rested players on hand) Some players have looked really good and others have gone un noticed or noticed for the wrong reasons! Bertuzzi•Dats•Homer Leino•Z•Cleary Franzen•Flip•Abby/Williams Draper•Helm•Eaves/May/Maltby I think these lines makes us pretty scary, these still don't look right but I think our first lineis looking great, Z, Leino and Clears appear to have something as well. Last year Franzen and Flip had Awesome chemmy going in the playoffs so put them with Abby or Willy , all the while flipping mule, Bert and Leino around the horn.

lol now that's funny! Really funny! I had to work tonite but as I was cooking on the line I kept checking my phone for game updates and damn it if the T dot wasn't seemingly kicking the sh&t out of our poor little detroit powerhouse! As my boss is a leaves fan he was loving it...I however only got to see about 4 minutes of it but in that 4 was Clears 100th, congrats big guy! The rest sucked, the entire team looked like they were playing in slow motion looking for a pretty play( minus helm of course), instead of flying like wings are suppost to do! Dats was skating like Larry Murphy with the puck for god sakes, not to mention when he fell trying to deke someone!!! Anyway I'm too mad now and have to stop typing now but...? Why must we loose to Toronto ( I live an hour away) every ******* time?

Not that he has "earned it" yet but I think leino should be moved up so he's with Z and clears. Willy should go back with maltby and Abbs. I think Leino and Z could get someting going together, and Z needs a partner again cause his game works best when he has someone he meshs with...just a thought

I think Bert has impressed me alot, his skating is great and he learned Defence! Actual Defence, that is awesome that he altered his style for this team...playing with Dats and Hank will only help him mesh the two even quicker, I mean what choice do the euro twins leave you! Go Big Bert

I like what I see from these lines...what will happen the mule returns Z-Dats-Bert Leino-Flip-Franzen Cleary-Helm-Williams/Homer Eaves/Maltby-Draper-May Looks damn fine to me, And constant rotation is key to fresh playoff Legs this year!! redemption is looking better and better!

I hear that but I think seeing him paired with Gino and Kovalchuck or Kovalev will be just as awesome...imagine Dats, Malkin and Ovie! Wow

Now that idea I like, and Ive respected meech for a couple years now as a come up and fill in kind of guy ( more less cause he can play anywere) but we need that steady 3rd pairing...and another cannon of a shot would be great back there!

The only question I have is why Meech? Don't we have other D down in the grifs that may be better than him? I personally would rather see Kindl or even Janik instead.

Its true, But as well as cutting Homer, cut Maltby as well. I'm begining to hate some of these players taking up roster space while there are sooo many BETTER options!

I think if big Bert and Hank find a groove then he could pocket 30-33 this year...and if Clears stays on this line then he shows enough courage and spirit to give this sleeping giant a wakeup call!

If huds goes to play in were ever he goes, and Alex T should by all rights taking a pay cut off a not so great year, could we maybe land him, he is my fav of the choices left. I also think Tanguay-Flip-Franzen is a great 2nd line
