I agree. On one hand, injuries have killed us this year missing so many players for such a long period of time. Since the olympic break and getting everybody healthy mostly, we've been playing like we should've to begin with. On the other hand, even with the injuries we didn't give half the effort against some of the worser teams of the NHL. Mainly the ones mentioned by the OP. Leafs, Oilers, Islanders, Thrashers, etc. I do think we'll see the same effort given from here on out no matter if we're playing the Oilers or the Predators. Gonna be fun stretch to end the season.

I honestly believe he will. I think the only reason he may not win it is because he's won it the past 2 years so they might feel like they need to give it to Kesler or someone else

I think we can all agree that Lidstrom will be the next in the rafters of the Joe. My question is who do you think will be after that? Datsyuk or Zetterberg perhaps? Maybe Osgood? Or even someone that's still very young or in Grand Rapids, you just think they'll go onto a great career that will end with their sweater in the rafters. Just interested in what you guys think

that would be an awesome trip man. I've had great experiences in interacting with swedes. My senior year of high school we got an exchange student from sweden and he was one of the coolest dudes I ever met. He was a huge soccer fan but he hung out with me and all my friends that year. He always told me thanks for letting him hang out with all of us and said anytime we wanted to come to sweden he'd show us around there. I've always wanted to make the trip and plan to someday.

I heard about a week ago that Pav was gonna be on the 3rd line for checking. I decided to just record it then watch tomorrow after work. after reading this thread, if true, I seriously might stay up and say screw it. Will be lots of with those 3 on the same line

I personally hope he feels great after these next 2 games and goes to play in Vancouver. I know there's a risk of injury but the thought of him getting some rust, playing with other great players, and comin back in 2 weeks on a hot streak or just without any rust could be HUGE for our playoff hopes. Either way I'm hoping for the best
