I have noticed that there is next to no faith in having both Ericsson and Kindl on the Wings next year and I for one, am actually confidant in these two young guns. Im not saying that they need to play together (thats asking for trouble) but I feel we have enough veterans on the blue line to help these two become great nhl players...and if the experiment fails we do have janek and meech that could jump in at a moments notice... all Im saying is that i think it is worth a shot... are there any others out there that feel the same as I do? im just curious...dont hate...

would love to see him get called up for a few games this season and definately if one of our stars goes down with an injury.... this kid is the real deal and will be on the roster full time in 2011-2012... be about it...

I get to watch Callahan play aaaaaaall the time here in Kelowna! trust me guys...this is the kid weve been waiting for....hes nothing but energy...he hits, fights, and scores clutch goals...this guy is gunna be one of the best 3rd-4th liners weve had in a loooong time!

yeah I saw Jeremy Williams play last year and thought he was waaaaaay better than Jason Williams...but I dont really care that hes gone because when I saw him playing well it was on a line with Ritola and Abdelkader...and both of them have moved up so yeah...see ya Jeremy

I really hope this turns out to be true! Ive always been a big fan of Modano and I feel he still has a lot of hockey left in him and will really strengthen our 3rd line and 2nd PP unit.

I am 100% down with that line up. I reeeally hope we keep Ritola though, I feel he still has tremendous potential and if we have to lose someone I guess the odd man out will have to be Miller as much as that pains me to say...

MacDonald is back in the fold so goaltending will be muuuuch better! I wonder where Johnson and Minard will fit into the roster... does anyone know if Armstrong, Owens, Williams or Crosty will be back?

im all for bringing MacDonald back! great for GR and definately a better call up than McCollum at this point. McCollum is just not ready yet in my opinion. Minard and Johnson look like great depth additions to GR as well. now go get Modano Kenny!

yeah im totally down with bring in Modano...i think he could really contribute and solidify our top 3 lines

they probably found a team that was willing to take him on waivers but not trade for him, so they went that route...probably a good decision...get the youth movement underway in Oil Town

My dad grew up on the lake head in Ontario and was originally a Habs fan...in the town he was living in (Red Rock) there was a HUGE feud between Leafs and Habs fans and everywhere he went he was having one or the other shoved down his throat. So once he finally had enough of being told who he should like...he walked away from both of them, became a wings fan (mostly due to Gordie and all the other greats) and has stayed a wings fan since... My dad moved out west in the 70's (to Kelowna) ended up getting married, and brought me up as a Wings fan and I have been my entire 26 years...its just that simple :thumbup:

yeah I agree with that 100% looks like someone is going to have to go...I just wish they could all stay is all...but that is just getting selfish! Miller will probably be the odd man...and I can see us getting a mid round pick for him...maybe Steve could use him in Tampa?

I really like what Miller brought for us...he stepped in and helped out when our team was in shambles with a few timely goals and really helped our struggling pk... the only problem is that we are going to have at least 2 forwards sitting at all times if all our RFA's sign and we stay healthy... Hudler, Datsyuk, Holmstrom Franzen, Zetterberg, Cleary Bertuzzi, Filppula, Ritola Abdelkader, Helm, Eaves Draper, Miller 2 of those bottom 5 will be healthy scratches on a nightly basis, swapping in and out of the lineup as chemistry dictates... I think they all deserve roster spots... it will be difficult to decide who's in and who's out every night...

yeah Aubry is going to be a force in a few years...I am so happy with the way the Wings drafted its not even funny...our depth at forward is now looking VERY scary...we have a bright bright future...

maybe all Nabokov needed was a new atmosphere? I think he will do well in Philly...if they can reach the Cup Final with Leighton, they can surely do it with Nabokov...but I guess he doesnt have a good track record...
