What Five Current NHL Players Do You Like the Most?
robb himself replied to Shady Ultima's topic in General
1. Ovechkin 2. Kopitar 3. Doughty 4. Toews 5. Quincey -
im a fan of that
-
I would take a douchey 40-year old Schneider over a s***ty 27-year old Lebda... take him on re-entry Kenny...
-
Gordie Howe was just here in Kelowna BC a couple weeks ago signing autographs at West Coast Authentics and he was charging a minimum of $100 per autograph and just like everyone else.... the store was taking 95% of that fee...ive seen this place do it many times with many other players

they will never trade Holmstrom...hes our leading scorer and will be one of the reasons that we actually make the playoffs...he will be resigned to 1 or 2 more years Cleary has been injured and was doing fairly well util his injury with 16 points in 30 games (started slow but was picking it up just before his injury) Eaves has a modest 10 points in 29 games and has been a machine on the penalty kill...they will be re signing him in the offseason there is absolutely no way that Lidstrom signs for anything less than 3 or 3.5 Mill...he is may be getting old but hes still playing great and at 3.5 would be cutting his current salary in half...I would consider that a "hometown discount"... Leino Lebda and Meech could certainly be traded but the question is...who would take them?
-
pick him up and trade for schneider
-
keep dreaming
-
it never sucks to be a Canadian. Rick Nash - Sidney Crosby - Jarome Iginla Dany Heatley - Joe Thornton - Patrick Marleau Cory Perry - Ryan Getzlaf - Martin St. Louis Brendan Morrow - Mike Richards - Jonathon Toews Vincent Lecavalier Chris Pronger - Scott Niedermayer Dan Boyle - Shea Weber Mike Green - Duncan Keith Drew Doughty Mike Brodeur Roberto Luongo Marc Andre Fleury

yeah Nestrasil is playing...should be a great tourny
-
what do you guys want?? for me its 1.a healthy Fills, Mule and Zetts 2. Howard to continue his great rookie campaign 3. just hold on and make the play offs!
-
Would you take Ilya Kovalchuk if Lidstrom retires?
robb himself replied to Miller Brew's topic in General
I wouldnt trade for him...The only way we will get our fingers on him is if he hits free agency, and we crunch the numbers enough to fit him in...but it will be difficult without retaining some depth -
I love the announcers reaction to Malik's goal...just priceless
-
Kopecky is WAY worse... Leino plays a good game...he just needs to find his scoring touch...and some chemistry with someone...and that someone is Filppula....as soon as Fills returns, look for Leino to get going
-
yeah I really liked what I saw from Newbury, but if it means Filppula is coming back... so be it.
-
Wings win a wild one 5-4 Dats, Bert, Mills, Leino and Eaves
-
God willing
-
1. a healthy team... 2. Betman to resign... 3. to live near Detroit so I could buy those CHEAP ass tickets they are selling! you guys dont know how lucky you have it! I would go to every game if I lived out there! I have to pay a minimum of $100-$120 a ticket to see the Canucks play the bloody Coyotes out here!
-
calm down...
-
i think i would be willing to trade rafalski and maybe abdelkater or leino with a first rounder for kovalchuk if...and only if...he will resign after this season otherwise...I would wait until july
-
trading datsyuk is the worst idea in the long sad history of bad ideas....
-
yep
-
because if we sign a free agent we will have way too many guys on the roster when everyone is healthy..holland is looking from within the organization and thats it... it may suck but thats the way it is
-
no he just sort of twisted it weirdly inbehind the net when he was fighting for the puck he should be fine...aaand we should keep Kindl up to play with him IMO
-
Kindl wears #46 when playing with Detroit
-
The Red Wings have recalled defenseman Jakub Kindl from AHL affiliate Grand Rapids. He will join the team for Thursday's morning skate and will make his NHL debut against Edmonton if Brian Rafalski is unable to play because of the sore back that forced him to leave Wednesday's practice. Kindl, 22, has one goal, a team-leading 11 assists and a minus-2 rating in 19 games with the Griffins. "He's played pretty well, got off to a bit of a slow start the first three to four games,'' Red Wings general manager Ken Holland said. "Since he turned pro, he's continued to get stronger, learned to be better in his own zone. "His strengths are his ability to move the puck. He's got good size (6-3, 210). He can be an NHL player.'' personally I cant wait to see him debut! maybe he will permanently play his way onto the team and bump lebda and meech down
