all i want from the red wings genie is a new, larger barn, designed after the original olympia, which seats 35k, and has a "cheap seats" section that always has $5 tickets. oh, bring the boards from the joe, too... if the red wings genie is feeling generous after all this, i wouldn't mind a red wings themed motorcycle for me to drive to every game, making me sort of an unofficial "super-fan". you know, the kind that goes to every game on the schedule and generally upsets the fans of the other team. and should the red wings genie still feel i haven't asked enough, well...ice girls wouldn't kill us, would they?

just had to chime in about rafalski's, errr....lackluster season thusfar. did he trade arms with j-wil? his point coverage looks remarkably like j-wil's first tour with the wings, which is to say....well, "coverage" doesn't seem the right word, does it? having to watch my hockey via streaming, all too often during the first few games, i found myself screaming WILLYYYYOUSUUUUCK! as the puck slid by to center ice, only to discover it was actually rafalski! i mean, it looked that similar... as for lebda, well....its detroit. "unfortunate accidents" happen to folks all the time in the d. maybe thats what kenny is waiting for... if a player is mortally wounded during a carjacking, does their salary still count against the cap for the rest of the season? and what does lebda drive? (no disrespect to my fair city. carjackings happen everywhere, not just in detroit.)

lol, yeah....sorry, i'd been up for around 24 straight hours when i improvised that little exchange. clearly its not a real life scenario.... now, the bit about lemieux and d-mac....totally true. i saw it in a vision (again...severely sleep deprived here) besides, if i were to honestly guess the game with no preference shown either team, i'd have to say it'll be a much lower scoring game than what i suggested. (for the record, didn't hitch pull a goalie in a tied game during the last minute of play when he was flyers coach? i could swear i remember that happening)

wings 5 (last being empty netter with under 50 seconds to play) avs 4 (last happening in the 2nd-last minute of play) since he'll always be a crusty bastard, claude lemieux will be in the stands, hoping to see a colorado team beating the wings. noticing this on tv, d-mac high-tails it to the joe, rips off claude's left arm, and uses it to repeatedly pimp-slap him into turtledom. as a result, wings offer d-mac a 25 game "tryout" contract. you know...for "grit".
