I love reading all this.. Canada will get powerplays blah blah blah. Its an international tourny not a Canadian ran one. Canadas depth is just outmatching the russian 2 lines that can play hockey. These 2 lines dont even have chemistry and the KHLers look like a bunch of plugs out there. GO CANADA GO Oh and to say russia is even half as physical as Canada? I figured this is exactly what you were talking about when you brought that up because I noticed it too. It probably got to me because the girl in 3rd was waiving her flag and screaming like right in the Canadian girl's face.

Hopefully we'll see him at the world juniors next year. He won the fastest skater at the top prospects game I believe and in the future imagine him paired with Helm and maybe someone like Abby. Helm and Landon would dominate with their speed and physicality while Abby is no slow poke and can lay the body as well as finish.

Abby must be pissed about getting sent down. Thats his 3rd or 4th fight since his demotion. I love it !!!

He tried to fight Boll off the faceoff, Boll wouldn't go and he turns around and tries to run Rafalskis head through the glass. May fought him and Boll did nothing the rest of the game.

Who said its giving up? If you can get a proven 30 goal scorer thats only 24 which is close to Flips age( I don't know exactly how old Flip is) then why wouldn't you do it?

Who had the least amount of skill on the team this year? Who never killed penalties? The enforcer. But wait, he still managed to play most of the season until our team couldn't score goals for some reason and they need to do everything they can to get some goals. May did his job and like was stated earlier in October when you're getting for a long grind he's good to have around. At teh ehnd of the season when youre making a push for the playoffs obviously he is going to be the one waived. May was brought here to prevent injuries from cheapshots from other teams tough guys, he can't prevent Mule from straining his MCL.

Why does it matter how theys core as long as they do? I would consider Franzen a pure goal scorer and same with Horton. We need goals it doesnt matter how they come. And honestly Franzen hasn't proven to be better then Horton except in the playoffs Horton could be just as god if not better then Mule.

I think that even if Kindl ends up a top 4 guy that we still get the better side of this trade. Horton is nearly the same age as him and a proven 30 goal scorer on a team with noone to play with. Horton came in the league with 50 goal potential and at 24 he could still easily do it. Flip tops out as a mediocre second liner in my opinion(dont wanna start an argument) adn we get a 3rd in return. Horton playing on al ine with Datsyuk and Franzen partnered with Z and i doubt you see any of these goal scoring troubles. And Horton has a little meanness to his game which is something I love to see, he could be like Shanny really if he fought more he has the ability. Oh and does anyone know if he could be squeezed in cap wise( I don't understand that s***) because hes been on LTIR with a broken leg for a like a month now?

Umm could you elborate on who exactly youre reffering to on the caps that is even near considered an enforcer? Caps are softer then detroit this season. Both hits looked somewhat dirty to me. Neal hit Prucha's head into the glass, yeah Prucha was bent over but Neal coulda hit his shoulder instead of head. Jansen will probably get 2 or 3 games because of his rep and Neal will get nothing.

The season is getting close to wrapping up but this is huge improvement from last year, can't help thinking that now since the guy is outta Cali he's probably getting some better coaching and better teammates and he's just oing to keep getting better. Horton possibly on the block eh? Kenny get it done. We need a good young scoring forward, this guy has 50 goal potential and he's probably the most underrated in the league.

I'm pretty sure one of those problems ws he got busted underage drinking. Lets be serious, he's at University and he's the next big thing on the hockey team. He's gonna party and so is anyone his age really. I don't think his attitude is really a concern.

Yeah and coaches corner is a 5 minute segment on the Canadian Broadcasting company. He doesn't pump up half as much as Miracle does. It portrays the russians as only being good because of lucky goals and dirty play. Theres no difference really, Miracle is an AMerican hockey movie and Coaches Corner is a Canadian hockey show.

Umm its pretty obvious that people on this site only watch coaches corner when he says something controversial and then you all come in here and baash him. You just proved this to me. He always used to rip Crosby for being a whiner and saying he needed to change. But wait, you wouldn't notice that because he wasn't bashing a soft euro and thats the only time you listen. I'm sure Darius got talked about during his playing career on hockey shows in Russia just like Cherry does about Canadian players who deserve praise. Kasparitus is also one of the dirtiest players in history and doesn't deserve time on CBC. All American television is based on American people, I don't see Canada getting any respect from American TV and the States pump up their own country like no other. Ever seen Miracle? Bottom line is Cherry almost always makes sense about what he's saying but since he never has a boner for players that aren't Canadian people get pissed.
