I concur, assuming that I'm almost as young as them or younger.(not sure how old they are but they can't be much younger.) And shoreline did you watch the game? Yeah Nash having one hit where it was a bit questionable is really the same as a known goon like Boll who fights alot punching Dats in the head then chargin across the ice at Rafalski. It seems to me like Shoreline is a bit cranky that his team isn't a bunch of ******* that don't stick up for themselves. Sucks to bee you I guess. Iwould tell you to go watch some other team (like you do to us grit slappies telling us to watch Philly and Anaheim). The problem with that is that everyother team plays hockey the way its supposed to be played and there isn't any softer teams. Figure skating it is I guess.

How many cheapshots did Boll deliver after the fight? He roughed up Datsyuk and had a couple shifts where he wasn't even trying to play the puck at all and was running around head hunting. Guess what.. The days of a power play enforcer are over so get used to it. And if Boll would have went off the face off Rafalski wouldn't have gotten ran from halfway across the ice. So yeah last night's fight was a perfect example of enforcer prevention.

May already wanted to fight off the draw because of that but then when he charged across teh ice at rafalski barely missing his head May does something. Well I thought after tonight us fight fans deserved a thread. This is the first time the wings have had 2 different players fight in one night and I liked what I saw. How about that punch May landed on Boll? Beauty.... And Janik showed he isn't scared to go against a fairly tough opponent. Hopefully the management see this guy is tough and can play jut as well as Lebda and we see Lebda gone for a draft pick or something. Thats what I want to see at least. Oh and this year May is starting to make a name for himself as a somwhat respectable light heavy. This is his first year in a while being the toughest on the team and his fight numbers are way up compared to recent years. And the team was scrumming it up after whistles or when people got near the tendy. We actually had a backbone tonight and I loved it. Anyways two good showings by 2 solid fighters tonight. About time we got a backbone. EDIT: And for the non fight fans that say fighters giong off the face off protects noone, May wanted to go Boll off the draw tonight but Boll wouldn't. Boll then proceeded to almost take Rafalski's head off later in the shift. If they fought off the draw thi wuoldn't have happened.

People have been saying that Lashoff absolutely creamed a guy last night or the night before not quite sure. I was wonding if anyone has the video of it I'm looking forward to seeing this guy in grand rapids next year thn eventually tin a wings sweater. He looks like a good combo of size, grit and a bit of a mobile side.

The only time I don't mind retribution on a clean hit is if a goon type player is running around for a whole shift trying to kill your star players and eventually tags one of them hard on a clean hit but you can tell the guy was head hunting.

Cleary has been hurt? and isn'tgoing anywhere don't get your hopes up. Eaves has been great. Leino, Meech and Lebda are the only ones I can see being traded.

He popped Datsyuk right infront of the bench while he was going for a line change then took a run for Rafalski's head. If he didn't get put in check he probably woulda done it all night and coulda ended up with an injury or 2

Yeah in my initial post my edit made a point about how if they would've fought off the draw like May wanted too, Rafalski wouldn't have been ran and that could have been prevented. May wanted to go off the face off because of what Boll pulled on Dats, noone would've noticed that if they fought off the draw but it just goes to show those fights off the draw do more then people think. I think this fight proved alot about how enforcers can help

Repeat after me: first time he was here he had back issues and didn't play that bad but didn't stand out really either. This time around he's been playing strong defensively and was snake bitten the first half of the season. Now those posts are going in for him. Repeat after me watch a game or 2 then judge Bert because if you think he's been bad you haven't been watching.

Theres a tradefreeze in the canadian junior leagues. Well the OHL for sure not 100% psitive about the dub and q though because of the world juniors.

Can't wait to see what Ritola can do up on a scoring line. I remember saying in the Ritola recalled thread that I thought maybe they were bringing him up to take ville's place and got ridiculed for it. Yeah if we're taking a bonoafide goal scorer I'm happy. I'm just not happy taking a 5'9 european who only has 5 goals so far this season with a decent first round pick.
