I see a solid stay at home defenseman known for the rough stuff and blocking shots getting added to replace lilja. I hope for a Matt Walker type in exchange for maybe Lebda and a pick or something along those lines.

With Flip out for at least 6 weeks now who do you guys think we'll get to see called up? With May out as well I think Newbury is a possiblilty. He;s had a strong start to the year, 10 game 8 points 2 fights. Seeing him and Helm out on a line together would be great, imagine those two firecrackers hitting everything in sight, rattling the opponents defense to no end. DO we maybe see some toughness called up like Tardif or a goal scorer in Williams (who only has 4 points so I doubt we see him) Or will the wings just fill the needs but giving Abs more of a role and Eaves more of a role as well? what do you guys think?

Yeah because a line of Draper Helm Eaves will provide alot of scoring. You need toughness from a 4th line, something we won't have now for a week.

Being a hockey fan I think the program is well worth it. Sitting home bored at night even if teh wings aren't playing you can always turn on some team you would never get the chance to watch like Anaheim or LA. Living in Canada I also hate the extremely low amount of wings games I get to watch eyarly.

Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton fans aren't forced to watch the leafs. They play the second in Ontario because they play at 7 out west. Prime time. I'm almost certain that you get a different feed dependng where you live. Habs fans are watching the habs on CBC Ontario natives the leafs etc.

Theres a reason the 3rd and 4th lines are generally referred to as checking lines. They're not goal scoring lines especially in this cap era. For 500 k a year what do you expect? 30 goals? That was a retarded statement on your part my friend.

Yeah he put up a good fight against Tootoo last season or the year before. He's not a brawler but he's good for a couple fights a season and can hold his own. He fought Phaneuf in teh playoffs when he was a wing last time.

Anyone else think Bert looked great on both sides of the puck again tongiht cause I sure did. Leino also impressed me. I liked how Abdelkader almost looked like he was looking for a fight infront of the bench. Like to see the young guns stand up for themselves.

All the stats are against reds4life but he's still nagging about Federov being better because its his favourite player or pretty damn near close to it. All the stats point to Yzerman and Yzerman wasn't a dramatic little girl while he was in Detroit, Federov on the other hand was. Federov had no leadership skills whatsoever but Yzerman was one of if not the greatest on ice leader of all time. Do leadership qualities come into account in this single greatest season?

Jagr doesn't deserve to tie Yzerman's skates. He never came close because he got other players on his team besides goons and no namers. He didn't need to take all the scoring on his back and instead opted to block shots and play defensive to win cups. To call Yzermans season a fluke because of his era is retarded, how many other players did it in that era?
