Bert plays just as rough as anyone out there. He might not plant himself infront of the net like Homer but thats because he has the skillset to not make an NHL career out of that alone. If its based on how rough and tumble they play then Bert deserves it more then Homer.

With Franzen out so long do you guys think we'll just see Abs in the lineup? Or might we see some other prospects get a shot to show what they can do? What do you guys think the chaces are we might see Emmerton or another prospect up now? I really want to see him get a couple games. I also remember hearing in an interview that Tardif might get a few games so he could also be a possibility. So what do you guys think the chances are of seeing some of the young guys up?

Wendel CLark - Like many said he was a wing but not in his glory days. 4. Scott Stevens - Biggest hitter of all time. 5. Lindros - In his prime one of the best players I've watched Yeah I picked classic power forwards because theyre the real hockey players. Guys who get their noses dirty but can still get the pretty goals and beat someone up the next shift.

Well its the only thing our teams lacks. You're never perfect and thats the one thing we can improve on, so why not add a Brad May type. Hoping to see maybe 5 of those from Big E this year. Maybe not against heavyweights but I wouldn't mind seeing him tangle with a light Heavy like Jimmy Vandemeer or a BJ Crombben type player to get his feet wet. As a 5th defeseman and the capabilities he should be out there sticking up for the team.

The 5 losses doesn't really seem like a big deal to me. They've been playing alot less actual NHLers then the other teams because I think they want to rest theguns for Sweden. Guys like Newbury and co have been kept around longer then they would've been last season to rest our good players for the trip overseas.

Rosehill is a quality fighter and May showed he can still hang in their pretty well. I'm all for this if we can get him signed.

I'm not sure I would say Dave Keon with Toronto since theres all that bad blood between them. Not sure who I would say higher then him though. CLark or Gilmore perhaps?

Franzen should put up 40 this year, I wouldn't take him first round but early second wouldnt be unheard of and GMR is right Franzen needs to make up his mind. If he wants to act tugh then so be it but back it up and if he doesn't wanna back it up then he should stop always starting scrums after whistles and diving. It brings nothing to the game and is classless as alot of you anti toughness people would say. Since our organization needs class we should trade Franzen.

it looks like it was a line change to me right as phaneuf hit okposo. When you're Phaneuf and have proven your worth in the league you don't go doing that s*** in preseason against a s***ty teams 2nd est prospect after Tavares. He deserved more of a beat down.
