No im going off seeing him play. Yeah I would waive Miller for him too but as it is right now I would rather waive Brunnstrom and hope he makes it to Grand Rapids He hasnt hacked it with Toronto or Dallas so I think they could risk him on the waiver wire, whereas Miller would get picked up most likely He does though is the thing. He would make this team more well rounded. And youre going to seriously say he cant play here because he got bounced from a bad team while saying Brunnstrom must stay? Brunnstrom who couldnt produce in teh AHL last season....

With Mursak down I would waive Brunnstrom for him to be honest. We dont need a guy like Brunnstrom really and we could really use a guy like Nystrom. A guy who can enforce and play, its too bad we neded up locking these many guys up because he would be the perfect fit here. The physicality he brings is worth the 3 less assists he gets than Miller while Miller is playing with better teams. You play Nystrom with Eaves and Helm and he easily produces like Miller does

Ill chime in on a couple but dont feel like doing the whole team. Helm - With the way he looked in the preseason, I think he could break 40 points this year. Abdelkader - KEEP HIM ON THE GOD DAMN WING BABCOCK. When hes on the wing he can be one of the hardest hittign forwards in the league and he puts up decent offensive numbers. At center he plays great defensively but thats about it. On the wing I expect him to put up Helm like numbers from last season. Gotta remember last year was his first full NHL season. Bertuzzi - On the line with harry and loyd he should be playing like he did in the playoffs and last 12 games of the season. If he can do that than this will be an amazing third line for the wings. Ian White - Im expecting a career year, 40 points or so. Commodore - I think he will be a better #6 than Salei and give the wings a nice toughness addition. He will be in the lineup against tough teams and can fight heavyweights. He'll hopefully rub off on Ericcson, solid defensive play, PK time and 7+ fights is what Im thinking. Kronwall - Should step up big in his increased ice time. We might finally see the number 1 defenseman we expected him to turn into Franzen - I expect some more consistency now that his wife popped out that baby

I remember thinking last preseason he looked faster than usual too but it didnt end up being like that. There was a quote about Babcock saying if he continues playing that good than he will be on the team and I also think it said something about his stay in the AHL will be short. I kind of took that as we'll see how Hudler does on a scoring line, if he plays like last year and Nyquist continues playing well than Hudler will be traded and Nyquist put on the team.

Kindl did actually play a little physical this preseason. He seemed to be going through with his word. He has the size and abilities (at least in the OHL) to playlike that so he might as well do it, dont need a nother Ericcson. On a side note, with Commie I really think Ericcson will play meaner and be mroe consistent in that respect with Commodore playing like that

I think he has an outside shot at the WJ team for Canada, if not this year than I think next year is pretty likely that he'll make it

I dont think he played like Hank, more of a Filppula or Datsyuk. Very shifty and good hands, didnt protect the puck with his body a tonne like Z does

After really getting a good look at Nyquist I have no doubt he'll be a top 6 player in the NHL at least, the kid is unreal. Like a mini Datsyuk, strong 2 ways, sick hands and a great playmaker (less of a goal scorer). With the way hes played it wouldnt surprise me if he got on the roster while Mursak is out or at least plays a few games. He could be the next great steal of the wings, and I wouldnt be surprised if he does hit all star calibre, he is that good

Hopefully Abdelkader is out there looking for a pound of flesh after he didnt get to pund in Macarthurs face. A lot of leaf fans are saying big bad Macarthur would have beat Abdelkader up lol

Janik or Exelby wont be playing over Commodore guys, dont know where you would get that idea from

Well with Ferraro in tonight, hopefully that means Callahan is in Friday against Toronto cause I'll be in attendance

Ferraro tweeted that hes back in Detroit getting ready for Chicago tomorrow and that he was pumped up. Could mean hes is potentially in the line up and could mean good news for Parkes and Callahan as well

Was the Commodore fight any good? And what happened, any dirty hits or anything I saw he got an instigator so walker musta done something. I think hes solidifying himself as our starting 6th man, he saved a goal tonight, has looked solid out there and doing something Babcock loves, keepin the flies off. so far he looks like another reclamatoin project that could go really well

Just read a little article by Lindy talking about how weird it is that Jurco is playing games still and we're yet to see Callahan Parkes and Ferraro all guys who are hoping to go pro this year. You would think they would get into a game soon wouldnt you? Seems odd, either theyre erally high on Jurco or theyre just planning on playing these guys for a few games later on

Its gonna be cool having a defenseman who is genuinely mean in all aspects of the game. Yeah the wings have big hitters, but Kronwall is going to hurt you infront of the net or punch your head in like Commie will. Having this guy to show the younger guys how to play mean could be awesome for them, I expect itll rub off on Ericcson. Kindl could be a physical player, when they drafted him one of Nills comments was that hes shown he can throw a decent left, he had a mean streak in the OHL but i dont know what happened to him Mussleman was a tough guy too

Would love to see Callahan out there in a pro game and potentially put that Rinaldo kid in his place edit: damnit line up is the same as the first one against pittsburgh
