Well we might actually see Miller gone but I doubt Eaves is. I actually think Hudler will be traded for picks before we lose Eaves. Modano will be gone next year, Abby plays his third line center spot then Emmerton takes the role of 4th line center. Miller is gone and Mursak takes his 4th line spot and fills in in the top 6 for injuries. Or maybe Hudler is gone and we see a third line of Mursak Abby Cleary and a 4th of Eaves Emmerton Miller.

Kaleta actually has impressed me a lot this year. Hasn't been throwing cheap shots and hasn't been scared to fight anyone. Fought Schenn and Dorsett who are both pretty good fighters and he did well. Hopefully he keeps it up

A cheap play is different then a cheap player. Moore took rpide in playing like that, Bert was not a dirty player at all before that one single play. If he was a repeat offender I would call him a cheap pos but if its a one time thing its likely thats not how he normally is and the result was a freak accident. Meh he ended a guys career ya, but it was guy who didn't deserve to have a career the way he played. Bert was sticking up for his captain against a little cheap shot artist who was skating arond running guys after the fact that he hit Naslund like that. Eva you dont seem to know much about this kind of stuff. First of all, he fought Matt Cooke, you think everyone on the Couver bench thought that was retribution enough after Moore continued slashing and chirping the whole game. The way he played that game alone he should've fought someone, let a lone after his hit on Naslund the game before. Moore should have faced him like a man, you wanna throw head shots at a 50 goal scorer and captain youre going to have to man up, especially if youre playing like a cheap pos the next game. And I hate when people say Bert drove his head in the ice, he fell on top of him because Moore fell too. Bertuzzi was on one of the most dominant lines in the league with Naslund and Bert was a mean poiwer forward, he was obviously going to do something for his line mate. Just like Mac did for his long time linemate Draper. Sure Bert suckered him but Moore was just like a Matt Cooke and I always see people on here saying they wouldn't mindhis career ended.

I think its safe to say that with the Montreal crowd treating him the way he did, and the way he has responded as the sure fire number one, along with his age, Price will be the better goalie if he isn't already. I love Howards attitude and think he is a very good goalie in this league but Price will be better in the long run

I dunno Konnan. I feel like theres a lot of people who wouldn't care if Matt Cooke;s career got ended right now. I see people say it a lot on here actually. Moore was just as bad as Cooke. The thing about the whole broken neck thing is that Bert didnt grab his chin and twist navy seal style to try and kill him. Bert got sick of Cookes dirty play, even when he had taken Naslund out, next game he came out chirping and playing dirty. He wouldn't face Bert like a man which is what you gotta do sometimes. And I am still a firm believer that the pile up broke his neck, not Bert. A dirty player who made plays that could've ended other players careers had his ended. He received compensation and is fine making a living. He is also not a cripple at all. I hold nothing against Bert for what he did

I am a huge Howard fan but lets get real here. What was Howard's playoff record when he was Price's age? And Price has been playing for teams that are usually about 6-8th seed calibre.

Wow UK by the looks of this team youre going to have a lot of videos to upload. This looks like one of the feistier GR teams in a while. Amadio, Straub, Owens, Tardif, Smith and Janik could all possibly put up nearly 10 fights each (I dont tihnk they all will but theyll all have over 5 at least with at least 4 getting 8 or more) plus some skilled guys who aren't scared to go like Mursak who will probably have a couple. Kolosov and Lashoff can handle themselves too. This team will probably linger around the top 8 in fighting majors this year, usually grand rapids is almost as soft as the wings

I dont get why people say no we dont replace him we're deep enough. If we have the cap space from him to use at the deadline then why the hell wouldn't we? We could use that 1.2 plus Hudler, picks, Kindl or whatever else to get a solid contributor. Why not arm ourselves for along post season instead of simply saying well we lost our third line center but we dont really need to be that much better to win probably?

Yeah because Hudler offers the forechecking, very solid defensive play, penalty killing ability and versatility that Filpulla offers to go along with his lower point total. This team is built to win now. We dont have time to wait for guys to shape up. We could get a solid prospect for him instead of sitting around on his cap hit waiting for him to improve, just imrpove a cheap prospect. He has never been liked by Babcock even when he was putting up 60 points, you think Babcock is gonna let him stick around much longer if hes not putting up points?

Smith definitely has a mean streak to go with his talent, I'm sure it will transfer over to the big leagues. I just hope he gets in some fights this year so that he learns the ropes of that before he comes to the NHL and gets hurt trying to fight. His offense is there, he just needs to work on his defense and the rough stuff (especially since he was an NCAA guy much like Abdelkader). I dont think it is that simple. I've heard people talk about how there was more respect for other players in the game when there wasn't helmets. Minor hockey players today grow up acting like tough guys behind cages, getting their sticks up and so forth. If players didnt have the helmets on I doubt you see people throwing themselves around as recklessly as they do now.

To the people saying Hudler has proven he can score 20 goals, well so has Patrick Eaves and he can still kill penalties and plays with some grit. Hudler needs to be traded, its not like we get nothing in return if we trade him? We could probably get a pretty solid prospect for him. As for the game tonight I think the wings win big, Abdelkader fights Kostopolous, Ericcson might fight too (just seems like western Canada games are rough) and datsyuk does something sweet 5-1 wings
