If Ericsson scores as a forward tonight, It's going to be hard not to keep him as a forward. Especially with his size.

He'll probably look pretty bad as a forward. I would love to see him bust out and be a bad ass power forward and a force to be reckoned with. But I highly doubt it. Should be interesting to see either way. Here's hoping for the latter!

I sure hope they get the best record. Maybe that will give their fan base a much needed boost. Also, if we finish as an 8th seed, I wouldn't be too intimidated to face the Yotes. Although, even if we face the Sharks or Hawks I say bring it on. A healthy Red Wings squad can play with and beat any team in the league.

Yet another huge game for our Red Wings. So important to separate further distance from the Flames in the standings. And if the preds lose we'll be just a point behind the 7th spot. I'm sick of always being 8th seed or just outside the playoff picture. For once, can we please get higher than 8th? I mean don't get me wrong, as long as we make the playoffs I'm not complaining. I'm not too worried about Bert's production. He'll serve as being just another role player to help the overall goal of winning. We had so many injuries before that we leaned on and relied on Bertuzzi a lot more. He was given more responsibilities and ice time and with that he was producing. But now that we're back to being healthy, he's back to what his original role was suppose to be, just a role player. That's the major reason he's dropped off. I imagine if he was getting 20 min a game again, he would go right back to regularly showing up on the score sheet. Definitely nothing to worry about. At least he hasn't been a liability out there. Then I would be worried.
