I have a feeling the Wings are going to kick it up a notch tonight. Maybe just hopeful thinking since I will be attending this one. Also, im not sure how much I like the lines but its nice to see Patty Eaves playing on the 3rd line

This is the impression I was under. I have always thought the Q was a weaker league, and the WHL and OHL are more similar to each other with the WHL being a bit more physical.

What? Im pretty sure the AHL is the next step after being in the WHL, and one could argue the top Euro leagues are a bit better than the AHL.

The Wings could win the presidents trophy and the cup for 3 years in a row and Babs wouldnt win it. The trophy is given to the coach of the team that improved most from the previous year. Even though Babs might be a better coach than the Jack Adams winner, the Wings were never bottom feeders. As sad as it all sounds, its true.

I agree with everything you said, but I think Tatar does have a pretty wicked wrister. Tatar came to Grand Rapids labeled as a sniper, but his game has turned in to so much more. I see Tatar having a similar skill set as Zetterberg. There is not one certain thing about Zetterbergs game ever blew me away, but he is still an outstanding player. I see Tatar as the same type of guy, pretty good at everything with a nice shot.

Well, at least they creatively used their jokes to insult ICP. I give them props for that. Also, a Jackets fan is selling 2 tickets to this game for $10 a piece, just go read his post on their GDT.

Tatar tied the record for most points in one AHL game.

Tatar is one of my favorite prospects. I know he is compared to Hudler (well, the 08-09 Hudler) but I think his ceiling is so much higher than that.

Lets attempt to stop the debate before it starts. That hit is clean, it wasnt blindside. If anything it was a tad high, but Stajan was pretty low to the ice at the time of the hit and Staal didn't hit Stajans head anyways. He might have brushed Stajans head with his arm on the follow through, but it doesnt look like his arm had any real force behind it. That was just an overall beautiful hit!

The only other team I actually like is Tampa Bay. I dont mind the Rangers, and I am one of the few Avery supporters left. I have a little sympathy thing going for the Panthers and Isles, I like to see them win, but it doesnt matter much to me. Other than that, screw em all!
