I have to agree, most teams (or at least their fans) think they have some huge rivalry against the Wings, and we do not feel the same way about it as they do. Year after year I think its safe to say the Wings have the biggest targets on their back out of the entire NHL.

The Wings are to old, to soft, are arrogant, play in a garbage arena, and have horrible fans. We will never win another cup guys.

Everybody knows Abdelkader has a spot in the lineup, Babs is just putting the pressure on him.

Holy s***, I did not expect that from Smith. He was throwing bombs and controlling the fight like an experienced heavyweight.

I have always wanted Mo but my wish has been granted. Others would be Backes, Luke Schenn, Keith Ballard, I have always wanted Avery back, Hjalmarsson, Kariya, Briere, I know im forgetting a few.

The Lions have so much potential, watching every game except one I believe they had great opportunity to win those games. When the little mistakes and kinks get worked out they could be a pretty decent NFL team. At least they arent completely handing wins away this season.

I was wondering the same. Smith never really had the chance to fight before, could be another aspect to add to his game. He was always a chippy guy for CCHA standards. With his skill and potential I wouldnt want Smith dropping the gloves all the time, but it would be nice seeing him willing to drop the gloves like Ericsson, or pre concussion Lilja.

The way the Ducks are playing Lilja should be on their top pairing. Poor Ducks...

Ilitch is absolutely loaded and dedicated. If he is building a new barn for 2 major Detroit sports teams I dont see him building anything less than spectacular. Im pretty excited to see what comes together in the next few years.

Wow, I havent seen Smith yet but with 2+2 in 4 games it seems like he is off to a great start. Also, how is Smith at dropping the gloves? He never really has the opportunity to show that part of his game before.

Im not sure about this year, but it is a fact that the Blues are one of the young and improving teams in the NHL. They are turning in to a threat.

Ahhh, I gotcha. I dont really remember all the details of Ericssons play from 08-09, but I do know I was impressed as hell especially come playoff time. The way Lids and E played for a portion of those playoffs was the kind of defense we could only dream to have throughout the whole season.

Good point, Ericcson was great in his first stretch of games and we all know how long that lasted. We will just have to wait and see if Kindl can continue playing the way he has, and I hope he does.

I have been blown away by Kindl, I had very low expectations for him. I was never impressed watching the Griffins, and from what I read he sort of underachieved there. Watching the game last night he has awesome fundamentals to his game. He plays very smart, and makes great passes. The only mistakes I saw him make were just all the little things you would expect to see from a kid his age. Prior to this season I was starting to get a feeling he was a bit of a bust, but I would not be shocked to see Kindl live up to his potential now. Im confident in this kid.

I agree, and even thought I dislike Wiz it is bs if he gets suspended. This is a good reason its bs if Wiz gets suspended.
