Im kind of shocked by the results so far. Maltby might not be the best, but he has been going out there and doing his best for the Wings nearly his entire career. He has been an absolute warrior for us, the guy deserves one last game. Anyways, Maltby playing is not going to lessen our chances of winning that much.

Did anyone else notice the speed Raedeke had during the game he played? I swear he was on par with Helm/Mursak, he left me a little shocked.

I would say around 80% of the games are on FSD. The others are on VS, MSNBC, and FSD+.

Who impressed me? Kindl, Kindl, Kindl, and Mursak. Also, for the caliber player he is I was pretty impressed with Brent Raedeke.

Right now the 4th line is penciled in as Abdelkader-Helm-Eaves with Miller/Ritola and Draper being our 13th and 14th forwards. It is also very likely that at any given time we will have one or more injured forwards so Miller/Ritola and Draper wont be sitting around much.

Funny you say that because they have never had the chance to prove they can play without the enforcer figure. There has ALWAYS been that enforcer figure on the team that plays a few regular season games and is a black ace in the playoffs. If the Wings did not have an enforcer I doubt it would slow them down in the playoffs, enforcers dont even play in the playoffs anyways and when they do they dont really fill their role because in the playoffs it isnt needed. Guys like Abdelkader, Ericsson, and to a lesser extent Bert and Eaves fight good enough to stick up for teammates. Hearing about the Wings being too soft is almost as annoying as saying they are too old. The past few years we have been one of the softest teams but we have also been one of the best. I think that argument in itself is good enough.

There was a time I thought Kindl was a bust, but I can honestly say im thrilled he will be with the Wings this year. Kindl has had an outstanding pre season
