    Knee still bothering Kronwall?

How good do you guys think Kronner could be if he never had the injury bug?

    Who will be shipped

A young forward from Sweden drafted by the Wings being waived? I dont think he makes it.

    Abdelkader re-signs for 2 years

I thought he had to get at least a 5% raise off his ELC.

    Grit/Fighting

My early predictions for fm leaders are the Ducks, Flames, and Leafs. Philly will obviously be up there too but im excluding them from my list. And Colton Orr will continue to kick everyone's ass.

    Penguins sign Arron Asham

This might be the most intelligent post that has gone down in this thread all day. Asham is a small 4th liner that doesnt hit that much, doesnt score that much, but is willing to drop the gloves on occasion. Its amazing how much credibility a player can get on LGW just because they fight.

    Post Everytime You Look

I dont really want to post anything, and now I regret visiting this thread but I will feel guilty if I dont post something before I leave.
  7. Pittsburgh never fails to prove itself as one of the doucheyist cities in America.

    Penguins sign Arron Asham

August on LGW really does bring the worst out in several posters.

    I hate shootouts

Games shouldnt be decided by a skills competition, but the Wings lack of success in the shootout probably just makes the shootout hate even worse.

This thread is full of stupidity.

    I hate shootouts

Shootouts make the NHL 100% less cool.

I tried to figure it out, and came out with nothing.

Lilja: Red Wings only team to offer contract

Give me a break. The average American 25 or over makes $32,140 a year. Lilja shouldn't have been greedy. With all the costs you listed he could still have lived the life of a king. Pro sports athletes are so money hungry is isn't even funny.
  15. They really "stuck" it to us!

    Lidstrom's Chances at Another Norris

I concur. Lids isnt very fast, and pretty underweight for a NHL defenseman but there isnt one player in the NHL that plays a smarter game than Nick.

    Penguins sign Arron Asham

I have always thought Mo was pretty good defensively. I remember a game against the stars in 08-09 I believe and on this single shift Mo was in the was of every pass and shot it was remarkable. I dont think Mo is going to be a liability.

4th Round Pick (111), Teemu Pulkkinen

He already turned down Kelowna, it will be at least another year before he comes to NA.

4th Round Pick (111), Teemu Pulkkinen

Mlive Here is something Malik posted the other day. Pulkkinen claims he has added on 18lbs of muscle putting him at 189lbs. I love this years draft class, I cant wait to see where they all end up playing next year.

    Red Wings app playlists

Lids gets the least horrible playlist award, but im still not impressed.

Where do you buy your Red Wings Gear?

Jersey In Stock Cant believe it hasnt been mentioned yet. Check them out, Jersey In Stock knows their stuff.

    Lidstrom's Chances at Another Norris

Playing with a better set of forwards this year, shouldn't be expecting the injuries we had last year either. The second half of the season he tore it up, if he does that all next season we can consider him a lock.

    Hitting and Winning

The skilled teams are primarily the ones at the top of the food chain. Thats just how it is, be happy we are skilled and soft.

should there be another team in the NHL?

No, there is other professional leagues that would be more than willing to employ these players. If they are not signed there is always a reason. Age, asking price, injury history, etc... The KHL gobbles these guys up. Keep less teams, improve the quality of hockey in the league.
