When I was that age I think I had some severe anger issues or something. My parents normally took me to the rink to play hockey, but as small as I was I always ended up being that one little kid that coundnt control himself and attempted to "fight". At least I was providing entertainment for everybody watching... Honestly, I probably looked like that kid every game. I feel kind of embarrassed now

Im pretty sure using a US proxy would fix the problem. Also, I dont listen to the ticket often. Mostly when im stranded in my truck and cant watch Wings games. If I hear DMac on there im sure I will listen to what he has to say for a little while.

My dad played against the Hatcher Brothers quite a bit in the juniors and he said they were some of the scariest mofos he ever had to play against. Luckily for my dad he was on defense 75% of the time.

Its kind of funny when Hawks fans pretend they aren't completely screwed. First off we picked up Eaves and Miller. Two awesome penalty killers, especially Eaves he is one hell of a grinder. Abdelkader is up full time next season. Maltby is gone. Lebda will not be our 5th-7th defenseman. Huds is back. Howard has solidified himself as a starter. It is pretty reasonable to expect half our forwards and defense to not get injured at the same time for a very large part of the season. The team has not been this healthy in 3 years. You act like your core has the edge because it is younger. With age out of the picture Detroit clearly has a better core, and in 3-4 years when our cores age will actually start to affect their play the next crop will be ready to take over. (Jarnkrok, Ferraro, Tatar, Pulkkinen, Macek, Sheahan, Smith, Nicastro, Nyquist, Lashoff etc.).

Fighting makes you tough, but a lot of other things do as well. You dont have to fight to be tough, but it helps.

Lilja USED to get hated on. Bert gets hated on a lot. I dont really see much Stuart hate. We can all agree nobody got hated on as much as Williams. Put it this way, Walker is their Williams. Go to HFBoards and read all the pages about the Gagne trade. Half of it isnt even about Gagne, its about how much Walker sucked. If any team dislikes one of their players this much because of his playing ability (or lack of) there is no way in hell I would want that player on the Wings.

Go to a Lightning forum and read a little. They all HATE him with a passion. Some were joking that they would have given a team their 4th rounder just to take Walker because he has negative value. Everyone is saying Walker sucks because he does, not because he fights.

One of the most underrated players on the team. This guy is an absolute warrior, he plays through so much. A healthy motivated Cleary can and will earn every cent of his contract everybody seems to hate. He can play the PP, the PK, he plays a very hard gritty game and goes to the dirtiest areas of the ice. In my eyes he is a very valuable player.

Carcillo is a drama queen. He is a little diving *****, no way I would want that on our team. I will take an actual hard working grinder over Mr. Drama Queen any day.

Meech hasnt sucked as hard as Lebda IMO, so im fine with him being our 13th forward 7th defenseman although he will probably still be traded.

From the sounds of it he seems like he is trying to pull his head out of his ass and make next season a good one. We will see.

With the AHL time Lashoff has been given he has done awesome. He has stepped his game up big time every time he laced em up for the Griffins. I think he has some serious potential.

Its a slight shoulder separation, he will be fine im not to concerned.

I read somewhere that GM's wont go near Nabby, he basically stopped trying in the Olympics. Im pretty sure it was one of the TSN guys on my twitter, but im not sure.

Sometime last week (Saturday I believe) Kenny said he already offered Lilja a deal. Than Liljas agent said they will explore the market and Liljas return is looking doubtful. My Twitter feed has started to slow down :/
