Im with you on that one. The only jerseys I have are an Yzerman and a McCarty. A Modono would look pretty nice next to those.

Sign Modano for around $1m, trade Miller and Meech for some picks than use what we have left for our 6th defenseman which im sure Janik could fill the role of just fine if he had to. Sorry I cant help it, he is one of my favorite players.

The Boogaard Datsyuk training camp thing is pretty overrated. Its not even Datsyuks camp, he is just a mentor for the kids there. But go ahead, give Boogaard all the credit in the world for going to a childrens hockey camp where Datsyuk plays a minor role.

We have several guys who we know can fight, it all comes down to if they will. Im talking Abdelkader, Bert, Ericsson, Eaves, Cleary, and maybe this 4th line or 6th defenseman guy that keeps being brought up.

He dominates at 156lbs, imagine how he would do if he put some weight on. This kid has so much potential, we are talking about 1st line talent here. Lets hope he fills out rather quickly.

Today I was sitting there just refreshing the NHL draft page. It was the 4th round, the pens just picked and Pulkkinen was still left. I kept thinking I would flip if we picked him, and sure enough I saw his name on my screen. That had to be one of the most hardcore fist pumps I have ever done in my life.

One thing his coach said is he would like Sheahan to be more physical so im assuming there is a lot of room to step it up in that department.

"He has probably dropped because of his lack of production, but he's learning to play away from the puck," another scout said. "He's a long-term prospect for a team who rarely skip any steps in development." Im not real thrilled with this pick. I guess Kenny and Nill know best, so lets hope they made the best choice.

It is actually 16 points in 53 games, and he plays in the KHL which I feel comfortable saying it is the second best league in the world just behind the NHL. Here is his HockeyDB page.

It all depends who is left when the Panthers pick comes around. If there 1 or 2 guys that should have been gone in the top 10 but are still around at 15 I would send Ritola packing if Meech doesnt cut it, but that's just me.
