I have seen us getting Sheahan on a lot of mock drafts. I havent heard anything special about him though. Others mentioned that I would be very pleased with are are Skinner, McIlrath, and MaCfarland. Skinner is supposed to be a pure goal scorer, especially in close around the net. McIlrath and MaCfarland are supposed to be pretty gritty and have a decent amount of skill so I would be pleased with that.

Ahhhhhh yes, the #2 pick.

Ahhh I see. I was getting the defenseman vibe from Lidstrom. Well in that case we can stick with a Jeremy Williams comparison, but from the sound of it Jeremy is probably 10x better defensively. Thats a little sad.

So basically Mike Green or Paul Coffey 2.0?

If we cant afford Lilja for our 5th-6th dman we could throw Janik or OKT in there. They both have plenty of NHL experience and from what I have seen I dont understand why Janik is still in the minors.

I think its safe to say Rowe on CC is one of the best players out there. After 30 seconds its already obvious he is the guy to watch.

Where is my man Lashoff? I have high hopes for that kid. Now as for Kindl I have never been impressed by him. He sort of scares me in a way when he gets on the ice.

Thats what I initially thought this would be.

I think we acquired a real late pick in the Leino trade but besides that im not sure if we have acquired or lost any others.

"In 2007, 15-year-old Kabanov was signed to a five-year contract with HC Spartak Moscow, a deal negotiated by his father and included an escape clause that would allow him to leave the contract to play in the National Hockey League (NHL).[1] When the Russian Super League was disbanded in favour of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) in 2008, he signed a new four-year contract to replace the original deal that also had an NHL escape clause.[1] He joined Spartak in 2008–09 as the youngest player in the KHL and appeared in ten regular season and playoff games.[2] During the season, the KHL unilaterally revoked his NHL escape clause. His playing rights were sold to Salavat Yulaev Ufa, which required a new contract be signed under KHL rules. Ufa refused to grant him another escape clause, and Kabanov refused to sign a new contract.[1] In the meantime, he was selected by the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the seventh overall selection in the Canadian Hockey League Import Draft." That is straight from wikipedia. From that it seems the kid is set on playing in the NHL. What scares me is he did not put up one point in 10 KHL games but he is only 17 so that may not be so much of a big deal. He did put up 11 points in 7 games during the WJC though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66BzgpxMxYM&feature=player_embedded#! If you ignore that idiot announcer its a good win for McIlrath.

Well I think Crosby is the obvious choice here.

I am feeling pretty confident. I would be much more confident if May was in instead of Williams, but that's no big deal.

I love how when a player underachieves people jump to conclusions that they are injured.

I would be so happy to see Bert play like a dirty piece of s*** again. I loved the old Bert.

WHAT THE f*** IS THIS? I have never been one to say there is conspiracy's and stuff against the Wings but I think we can all agree whats going on tonight is total bull s***.
-
I feel a big win coming on here. There is no excuses, we are the better team and it will show.

Kronner is playing really good hockey, his huge hits are just gone. I remember a few games where him and Stuart would had hitting competitions. Overall he has been just fine so im not going to complain.
-
Hey, even though Ericsson got a penalty at least he is being physical.

Awesome! I love these wallpapers.

Im really happy about playing the Sharks. Im glad we don't have to play the Canucks or Hawks, they are both really tough teams right now. With our record against the Sharks im feeling pretty confident. Anyways, we all know what Nabakov does in high pressure games (note the Olympics).

Im pretty sure the Yotes are about to get their s*** rocked. But im only pretty sure, its not a guarantee.

So what I have been saying since I joined this forum might just be true? Kovalchuk not a Wing? Wow, that was a tough prediction.

My cousin has been using the O stick since they first one came out, I guess he really likes them. I have never used a Reebok stick but I hear they are good.

Doan can f*** himself, unless he plays for us of course.
