They dominated a bit of the 3rd like they would do last year, thats a good sign. There is just no urgency to their game. If the Wings are starting to get as nervous as I am, they will step it up.

The thing is now that players are returning we are doing worse. The whole injury excuse isn't going to fly anymore, we have the team back and are still playing like garbage.

Lashoff, Smith, and Kindl are our future. I have never seen much in Kindl, but is projected to be very good. I have heard nothing but good things about Lashoff and Smith.

It is pretty irrelevant, as it is not going to happen.

If you think we are going to trade to acquire a top 6 player you are stupid. We are most likely trading for more draft picks.

Malts completely knocked Crosby off his game at times in the playoffs last year. I have never seen a guy run his mouth so consistently, with a few exceptions.

Filp is a very good offensively and defensively. He goes to the "dirty areas" and battles for the puck. He is much stronger on the puck than he has been in the past. He is one of our faster guys. If you see Filp as no better than a 3rd liner there is something wrong with you.

1.) We can not trade Rafalski. He has a NTC, and he is not going to waive it. He was born and raised in Michigan people. 2.) We are not trading a top 6 guy. There is no one in our top 6 to trade. Dats, Hank, and Mule are pretty much guaranteed safe. I can not see Filp being traded, and I cant see Homer having a very high trade value due to his injury problems of the last 2 years, and his age. Cleary has a NTC. Bert is a steal at 1.5m, he is not leaving. 3.) Our bottom six is iffy. Eaves, Miller, and Helm perform very well for their salary. There is not way Drapes will be traded. I don't think we could give Malts or May away, they would have to be waived. The only guy here that I could see being traded is Williams. 4.) We have an abundance of depth defenseman in out system. Janik, Kindl, Lebda, Meech, Lilja, Ericsson, Tollefsen. This is where the move will most likely be made. Many of these guys are already in the minors. You can count Ericsson, and Lilja out. Ericsson has shown what he can do and we can not pass that up. Lilja is getting old, and he has not played in 11 months. He has no trade value. They will not be traded. Lebda and Meech are our weak links here. Expect one of these guys to be gone.

He is fine. One thing he does more often than any of our other dmen is CLEAR THE NET. That alone is good enough for me because we know Lebda isn't going to do it.

I normally enjoy harassing the harassers. It REALLY gets them fired up.

If you think he needs better balance go look at how he played 1 or 2 years ago. He has bulked up a lot. Balance is not the issue anymore.

I guess I have a mancrush on Fil or something. I think he is like a poor mans Zetterberg. This year was supposed to be hid big breakout year, but his injury messed that up. Fil is a pretty solid 2 way player every game, thats all I ask for.

I have heard him in interviews after the period is over and such. Honestly, I cant think straight when im tired either.
