The entire western conference seems to be more competitive this year, and teams point totals are all closer than ever. We will not have to break 100 points to make it in this year. We just have to make sure none of the teams below us do.

Modano is a defensive beast. One of our last games against Dallas I remember he was such a damn pest on out PP. He was blocking every damn lane, and ended up icing it. He has plenty left in the tank. My grandpa actually coached him for a little while when he was a kid, so im naturally a Modano fan. IMO, Modano and Cheli are the 2 best Americans to ever play the sport.

It has happened many times in the NHL. Liljas case is just more than a simple concussion, his condition is much worse. Lilja has had blood clotting in his brain, and it seems that may be going away. I am not a doctor or anything, I just know that there were many issues with blood clotting in his brain for the past few months.

f*** Carcillo. Gaborik is one of my favorite non Wings. He is the best player in the NHL today IMO. Now if he never suffered those injuries, imagine what he would be.
