I completely agree. I do not think anyone in the NHL has ever been screwed over as much as Bert has so far.

Janik is a pretty offensive minded dman, and that is not what we need with Ericsson. Ericsson is very offensive minded and needs to be with a guy like Lilja, although I do have to say Janik played very well on both ends tonight. Anyways, can Janik be any worse that Lebda or Meech (who did not look that bad tonight imo).

I absolutely love big open ice hits, but when there is players leaving their feet, throwing elbows, knee to knee hits and such the league HAS to do more about it. As much as I hate to say it, Kronner is not innocent either.

Yeah, Phaneuf lays out huge unnecessary open ice hits, but he does not jam his forearm in to the other players chins when he does it. I would be fine with the hit if Wiz had his arm down, but he did not. Hockey players have complete control of their bodies, and to say he did it on accident it total BS.

Ovechkin's injury is worse that expected. He is now "week to week".

Yard work was Saturday, but I managed to be sore from hockey conditioning anyways. The person below me has played on a hockey team at least one time in their life.

Crosby looked pretty damn immature out there. He didn't fight because he wanted to, or because he had to. He fought out of pure frustration because he couldn't control his emotions. Also, the push to Zidlickys back at the beginning was completely uncalled for. And if anyone noticed Zidlicky did not even have his gloves off until Crosby started punching, he got them off just in time fo hold on to Cindys jersey.

The Wings actually havent lost at the Joe yet right? I think the second game in Sweden counted as a home game.

Im right with ya here. I cant stand hearing about Ovechkin or Crosby every freaking second of the day. Gaborik, Lecavalier, Nash, and Kovalchuk are the kind of guys I follow. You dont hear nearly as much about those guys, although Gaborik is becoming quite popular now that he plays for a better team.
