Callahan is the definition of a dedicated player and hard worker. Even if he never ends up being a good NHLer (which its hard to imagine he wont) he will bring all the intangibles a player can have.

Janik is iffy whenever he gets called up. Will we see rock solid Janik playing it safe and doing a good job out there or idiot Janik who makes 10000 mistakes a game and looks like he has never played professional hockey before? If anything he can still be a physical presence.

This team has been absolutely freaking pathetic. Its always something with these guys, they let in 5 goals a game or dont score any. Dats and Z have zero chemistry out there, I think its time to split them up. After the showing against the Yotes Babs seemed pretty pissed but it doesn't seem like he did much. Its not like they played horrible tonight, but I dont care how hot the goalie is this team only scored 1 goal. The Wings performing like they have the last 3 months is just frustrating as hell. You know they arent giving it their all every game, and they play with zero momentum.

Okay, lets not get carried away. Probie was 10x the fighter Orr is and he was a damn good player too. He made the all star team one year (with a little help from Stevie Y) but that still says something.

ZDC, my favorite line! Just watch, they are going to dominate.

Pavel might be my favorite all time player. He is so humble, almost too humble but very smart and has a good sense of humor. Pavel is a great guy and player, there is not one player in the NHL I would rather have on our team. Man love for Pavs right here. My fav Dats interview

The Datsyuk for Captain thread may have some truth to it. Nobody on the team trains and works harder than Datsyuk, and in my opinion the guy is a freaking genius on and off the ice. I have done a lot of reading on him.

Yeah mine is about a half mile away, when its nice outside I jog there, work out, and jog back home after. It is a lot easier to get up and go work out when the gym is close.

The Detroit s*** Wings blow their 4-1 lead in the 3rd as they top off their road trip with ANOTHER loss. Hey boys, there is 10 mins left in the game and the Yotes are going to be trying really hard to tie it up. MAYBE, just MAYBE you should try just as hard so they dont pop a few in and tie it up. Where is the work ethic? Thy were scheduled to have tomorrow and Monday off, but I sure as hell hope they get skated hard. Letting in 4 goals a game almost every game is completely unacceptable. Lids, Stuart, and Salei are the only three defenseman that seem to have any idea what defense is. Besides Ericssons oops in ot he has a pretty good game by his standards. Also, the refs tonight were terrible. The first Yotes goal was total bulls*** if you compare it to the goal we has called off the other night. Where is the consistence NHL? Oh yeah, there is none.

I have been doing a lot of cardio legs and core, but my shoulder is still down and out.

I think Ilari has a pretty damn good chance of making the team next year and I really hope he does. He seems like a great guy and a had been a very hard worker since going to the AHL. He can play a moderately physical game, and is pretty skilled too. I dont think he would really be that out of place on any line.

I dont know much about cancer but acute myeloid leukemia sounds pretty s***ty. I hope he pulls through alright.

He can leave to come to play in America if he wants.

At the time it felt a lot worse than I think it is. I have done it to the same shoulder before, im guessing it will be a little sore for around 2ish weeks, no biggie.

Pile on those 30 min skates, wear the guys out. I dont care if they lose a few games because they are worn out, they need to get work ethic back. What Babs did was obviously a short term fix. Trade somebody, shock the team. Shake it up. The Wings lazyness has reached a whole new level this season, they are either on or they aren't.
