Very nice, I do think Babs needs to try something new. After losing 2 games to the blues he uses the same lines again, real smart Babs.

Delmore is not to bad, he is better than Lebda, and maybe Meech. I can say that much.

First our defense has to step up, and Ozzie has to get his head out of his ass and play some playoff goaltending. Even if he did not play super bad, he still must outplay Mason which he did not IMO. Anyways, did anyone see a little jump in Homers step yesterday? He looks a bit better than he did last year, I think the break over the summer was good for him. P.S. Does anyone know how Ericsson is doing, will he be playing today?

C'mon, get Shanny and Cheli down there to help out the kids in Grand Rapids or something! Those two belong in the Detroit organization, lets hope they end up there doing something good, who cares what.

The Hawks are dicks. After being up by quite a few goals thay start playing dirty against a European team... It was supposed to be a fun game to spread popularity of the NHL, and give Euros a chance to watch a NHL team they might like. I am expecting the Wings to show some class, and im willing to bet they wont play like the Hawks. Heck, I dont even think May would play like the Hawks did, he at least has some class.

After tonight I have no problem with Willy on the point. He seemed to play the position very well. And talk about depth! Filp and Leino on the 3rd line! We should have no problem getting points out of that line. Our 3rd line is good enough to be some teams 1st line. Im also very happy with Z and Dats being split, but I do not think Homer is still a 1st line player although he has looked good this pre-season.

Im ready for pre-season revenge. Babcock has expressed how much he does not care about pre-season games though. I think the Pens coach may feel differently. Lets see if Babs takes this serious, or if he thinks of it as just another pre-season game.

Lets see what he can do! We have our regular season defense playing tomorrow, and if I was Ozzy I would want to have a good game after being completely embarrassed last game. I am expecting a win, and a fight!

We have enough toughness, Hossa, Sammy, and Hudler are out. Kopecky was never really effective at being "tough". New to our roster are Helm, Eaves, Bertuzzi, Ericsson, Williams, and Leino. I expect Abby to play a few games for us this year. We gained some grit this offseason, the majority of player we picked up are physical guys. Maybe not fighters, but they are "physical" nonetheless.

What the KHL? The SEL would be good competition, not sure who would be better. I feel safe saying the AHL is the 3rd best.

Lilja is an average fighter at best, he has beat some tough guys and lost to some people he should have beat. The point is May would smoke Lilja in a fair fight.
