This game sucks ass, the Detroit Lazy Wings playing like s*** and not showing up just like before their little winning streak.

Looks like the wings forgot about their 30 minute skating drills they did after the losing streak, maybe Babs needs to remind them when practice rolls around tomorrow.

I dont care what anyone says, I think what the guy does is hilarious. I would love to have him back on this team.

This. I have always kind of liked the guy. He might have a reputation of taking bad penalties or being lazy, but when he is on there isnt much the guy is not good at, he is a very well rounded player. If he is cheap this summer I kind of hope we pick him up. If he actually worked his ass off over a whole season and had top 6 ice time I honestly think he has 60-70 point potential.

Dont get me wrong, I love Homer and all he has done for the team in his career but these last few years have not been very good for him. Homer is basically useless 5 on 5, I think he might be the slowest guy in the NHL. If he isn't parked in front of the net on a PP playing with the best players in the world he is not going to do much at this point in his career. I kind of wish the guy would call it quits, im thinking we would be better off without him right now.

I think Callahan will do very well in the AHL and NHL. He is a pretty good player in the juniors, but he is the type of guy who plays better as his line mates get better. He feeds off of who he plays with and creates chances in the offensive zone with great forechecking and doing all the dirty work. He is the type of guy who does not have enough natural talent to make it in the top 6, but would not hold his line back or be a liability if he was used as a supporting player on a line with two more skilled players in the top 6.

Every time I have gone to the gym lately there has been guys watching me do my routine and trying to copy it and do my exercises. Watching them fail completely makes me feel pretty good about my physical condition

Bettman gets a lot more blame for things than he really deserves, but in reality the dude is still a total ass.

The Panthers were advertising to Montreal fans to try to sell tickets, it was pretty funny imo. But the snow birds take over down there, There were just as many Wings fans as Panthers and Lightning fans.

Teams have been throwing 1st round picks out like nothing as of late. Drew Miller to team x for a 2011 1st round pick. Yeah, that sounds good.

Thats one person I would have over Gretzky and Messier.

Gretzky was a good player but I have never looked at him as a leader. If he was not as good of a player as he was there is absolutely no way he would have had the C. I have always thought Messier was pretty overrated as a captain also. Those two need to be bumped off the list. Someone said Stevens should be on there, I agree with that for sure. There are a lot of guys I would consider over Gretzky and Messier.

We really have nothing to lose for someone who could turn out to be a great NHL player. I thught everything with Axelsson was done, but it looks like he didnt burn all bridges.

Remember all the horrible mistakes Ericsson made last year and how most members here had no hope for him? Well look at Kindl now, he is playing pretty badly but the hope is not lost. He was a first rounder who has had some very good games and some very bad games. Kindl will get used to the play at the NHL level and further develop in to a solid defenseman for us.

After the 2 shutouts I was telling a friend how I hoped they got worked hard in practice. Im talking worked so hard the majority of them are puking so their lazy asses can learn a lesson. These past few games have been absolutely unacceptable.

Im loving my new gym, I worked my entire upper body harder than I ever have yesterday. Today I did the P90X stretches and even though im a pretty flexible guy I hurt my lower back so I was limited from doing a lot of exercises since today was my leg day. I stuck with mostly cardio today, im thinking about an off day tomorrow and Friday another hard upper body day.

I loved Conks when he was here. Conklin was as solid as a rock for us, I was very confident when he was in net and very disappointed when we let him go.
