So is this the same NHL that runs a 2 minute "commercial" about the great tradition that was started by Pete and Jerry Cusimano in 1952, on their own NHL Network. ******* hypocrites. 60 years of tradition. It started before Bettman was even born.

Boarding? Probably. Charging? Maybe. Hit to the head? Yeah, it looked like he got him a little. The NHL Wheel of Justice calls for anywhere from hockey play, to 2 games for any of the scenarios above with either a concussion or no injury. I'm going to guess they give him a minimum of 1 game for good behavior previous to the hit, and will probably make it 2, just to show they're serious about head shots in the playoffs. I also expect Dean Lombardi to ***** about it in the media and get fined $100 trillion dollars. Here's what the "experts" had to say about it.

Agreed. I thought he stepped it up a notch last night. He was really good at engaging forwards around the net, and not letting them get position on him. I've been waiting to see him play like that all year. Hope he can keep it up. As for moving the puck out of their zone, every defenseman had at least one bad outlet pass last night, even Big Nick. I'm with the majority here. Experience wins out, until he loses his spot. I personally think Babcock said what he did about playing for his job, to light a fire under his ass, and step up his play. Between Sunday's game, and last nights game, it looks like it worked. Keep it up, Rusty.

That blue stuff surrounding both the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan,..... is water..... Include that with over 11,000 inland lakes and approximately 43% of Michigan is water. One last little factoid for you. Before our economic downturn in 2008, you know, the one that changed your teams barn name from GM Place to Rodgers Place. Michigan had the most licensed watercraft of any state in The U.S. California now stands just slightly ahead of us in watercraft. Maybe you need to think about the term LAND LUBBER again. Looking at the replay, the only angle that we get to see, it looks like he had his elbow down quite a bit. Don't really know how it got up into Seabrooks' face, unless either Abby left his feet or Seabrook had his head down. Would really have to see another angle to make an honest call. It does look as if he tried to pull up to avoid getting hit and Abby got him clean in the face, though. I'm thinking a fine at most. Remember we get all the calls, and, we have Toronto in our pocket.

This looks remarkably like one of our sold out games.

I recall them beating Anaheim and San Jose for us not to long ago, if my memory serves me correct. And that was with Turdco in goal.
