The Russia - Switzerland game sure was a wild game. Russia made quite a comeback to win that one. And just watching the beginning of the Kazakhstan - Slovakia game, 32 seconds in, and Slovakia is up 2-0 already. This has been a very entertaining tournament, so far.

Who's this Zadina guy? Been a ghost the last 2 games. Had a few moments late in the 3rd period, yesterday, but other than that, invisible. Glad to see that Veleno had a good game. He was looking to be the odd man out, but after his play tonight, I think he'll stay in the lineup. In other games, Sweden is just making The US team look like they don't belong on the same sheet of ice. Looks like fatigue is starting to set in on The Boys in Blue.

I think that Jimmy D needs to go to the press and say something to the nature of, "our crappy players are playing really crappy, and that they need to help out guys like Larkin and Nyquist". Or something like that. While Jim Lites' words to the press didn't necessarily light a fire under Benn or Seguin tonight, the rest of the team sure did pick up the slack. Maybe we can get some of our passengers to get out of the bus, and help push it just a little bit. Anyway, can't wait for our New Years Eve game. It's always been a lot of fun over the years.
