Although I've gone to a whole bunch of Wings games I've never had the pleasure of meeting up with any LGW members. I just think it would be much easier to start chants or something like that if we figure out a plan here and then brought it to the Joe

I bet Bitz gets a game. I honestly think the NHL gets a kick out of being inconsistent because it throws fans into an outrage and makes them talk endlessly about their (NHL's) product. Any publicity is good publicity

Well, at least your employer doesnt withhold money in escrow. Man...I feel terrible for Shea Weber. Poor guy. It's just unimaginable to see a guy go through such a financial hardship. I almost hate to say it, because in some ways I feel like it would be throwing Sheahan to the wolves (seeing as he has 0 games experience as an NHL Centre and only 1 game total), but Emmerton really can't play centre at this level (yet, or maybe ever). To me, it should either be the line up you posted or: Filppula - Zettberg - Hudler Franzen - Datsyuk - Bertuzzi Miller - Abdelkader - Cleary Connor - Sheahan - Holmstrom

To me, it was that incident as well as Stuart being levelled to the side of the Wings net from the blindside when he hadn't even played the puck that pissed me off the most. I also didn't like when Quincey was racing back for the puck just before he took the holding penalty. I thought Quincey was hooked which caused the turnover and subsequent penalty. This one wasn't as bad but the Stuart and Franzen plays just blew me away

I lost my mind when Weber embellished the Franzen knock especially considering Weber had just cross checked him.

I also was at Games 4 and 6 last year and it was amazing. The building never lost faith in the Wings and no matter the situation on Sunday it will be awesome. I'm making the trip from Toronto for the day to be there. The Wings have a 14-1 record with me in attendance at the Joe over the years which includes a 7-1 playoff record. The one blemish is game 6 2010 against the Coyotes. I'm giving a guarantee Game 3 Wings win

Article on MLive notes V.Mart has a chance to be back in the line up in late August as he ended up not requiring surgery that was scheduled for last week. Think of how dirty that line up would be with V.Mart: Jackson Boesch Cabrera Fielder Martinez Young Avila Peralta Raburn/Santiago etc. Can't wait for Fister to return. He's the key to the rotation. He needs to replicate his dominance from last year's stretch

Well, that is a pretty decent point actually. Although, the fact the Canucks announced Sedin had a concussion the next morning surely impacted the suspension while the Wings are saying it seems like Zetterberg is ok. But the point about the intent being similar s valid. Personally I just think Weber has a hatred of Swedes. Think about it for a second... First Weber concusses Lilja. He continually hates on Holmstrom. He did the head snap when Franzen lovingly grazed his face in admiration. Then he Ric Flair's Zetterberg. Only Lidstrom is left on Webere's Swede Hatred List. Luckily for all of us Wings fans Lidstrom is super human and swedish or not Weber must respect

I was honestly begging for Kronwall to lay some one out last night. Either way, it will happen sooner or later and when it does I will severely enjoy reading all of the outraged internet talking heads freaking about how dirty it was or about how he left his feet and blah blah blah. It will be awesome. I'm predicting Game 4 for someone to get Kronwalled.

Whether we all like Weber's actions last night or not the fact is Weber is a player who straddles the line of dirty within the rules or a cheapshot artist who deserves repeated suspensions. Weber is the new age Chris Pronger. The fact that he is so big, and so mean, is a huge factor in making him as good as he is. To me, I may not like certain individual plays he makes but I haven't seen him do something so absolutely outrageous that I wouldn't want him on the Wings. I would still take him in a heartbeat. McKenzie has it perfect. I absolutely guarantee there will be NO suspension. The worst part about the play is that it happened with no time on the clock (essentially) and Preds fans and the league will just hide behind the fact Webere received a roughing minor while the Wings didn't even get a chance to take advantage of that fact. ha if anything the fact that he/she was there would just make it even harder for him/her to have seen the play. When you go to a game how much crap in the scrums do you really see?

Oh my god, i am so stupid. I recorded the game today (since Im at work - and clearly working so hard) and was all set to go home and watch it when I opened this thread and saw you instantly say they are 4-0. Thaknfully I stopped reading there. That being said, the Tigers are killing it. I'm going to be in DET (I live in TOR) for Sunday's Game 3 and I wanted to catch a Tigers game but they're in TEX I believe. The key for them this season is going to be Fister. He needs to be healthy and win 16-18 games for sure.

Plus, in all honesty, I was chose such a low number (4) as to cushion the blow. It'll really, probably be about 8 games where we all freak about some injustice

I’d love if that’s the way it went for some obvious reasons. First, the Wings would win. Second, the Wings wouldn’t be travelling anywhere (essentially). Third, the Wings would reassert their dominance over the entire Central Division.

I'd guess 20 - 16 actual wins and 4 games we as fans felt we should have won if not for referees, bad bounces, or massive NHL produced conspiracies.

Im at work so I cant take pictures but I put the old school Red Wings 'D' and Tigers' 'D' decals on my Escape. So if you see a black Escape with a couple of D's on the back side windows roaming around the Joe this spring you'll know who you're looking at kids

Parise wont be doing much watching (of Datsyuk) next season as they'll be on the ice together
