I've not seen enough of Jensen, Marchenko and Backman to rate them but the fact we have this depth is exciting! I'm really big on Sproul I always picture him and DeKeyser as a pairing.

He was however he was the second goalie to go the draft, Chet Pickard (Nashville) was taken 18th overall, McCollum was of course taken 30th -

I follow Liverpool so Owen was the first star that I saw make his debut and followed his career closely. I agree the game was better about 5-10 years ago, although being Scottish I'm not too bothered about the lack of English stars lol! Biz is a good character guy, imagine he's a good team mate but let's be honest he would never get a game for the wings.

I grew up idolising Michael Owen! Biz has just signed with Portland so he might well end up back the Yotes that's certainly the reason he gave to Cardiff management.

I agree with you, the youth development could be so much better, following the Scottish teams more closely that the other teams I have to say that they at least try to develop local players with varying results and standards.

I've not seen him play but an 18 year old who goes undrafted and then earns an ELC 3 months later must be doing something right. Adds depth to GR/Toledo and who knows could be a great find. It's not like a minor league ELC breaks the bank, always worth a punt. -

Sums up my feelings exactly, a contract that he can grow in to. Also retain his rights beyond end of contract, big 3 years ahead for him and wings! Also, we should use this as a guide for the type of money Gus stands to earn in the off-season next year. Would guess he'd earn more. -

I'd be very surprised if we sign either of these guys for more than $2M per year, look at Smith and Nyquists' contracts over the last two years as a guide. -
